New Intro Sequence

Right, I've actually started on the season 3 video 2.0, obviously, it's not needed for a while yet, so no rush, and it's not finished either, but if you people who do have clips ready could get to sending them or uploading them, it means I'll be finished all the faster and you can see it.

For those of you who are interested, I've dropped my recent original character, deciding I won't have time to dedicate to a new character, and with Rino gone, his credit is gone too. I've instead put Carla in with a full title for my character, as she's gonna still be causing trouble after Rino's gone .

Anyway, any clips you want in, send them my way and I'll see what I can do. Goes for people with previous title slots too, if there are any changes you want. Already working on Jaden's.

I have two requests...

The first if a small one of Hector, but I don't know if you can find him in the trailors. (Dear Or Alive).

The second is a character that I'm going to be making in the future half way between the next series called Haldes. I was hoping you could make just a single shot of him using the Dawn of War dark crusade trailer. His part in the trailer is at the very end killing a fallen warrior (the camera shows the event from the warriors view.). Is that ok? =)

Hmm. I might need better guidance, especially on the Hector one. Dead or Alive? I don't actually know what that is, I'm afraid.

If you can point me to the trailers, I'll give it my best shot. A major problem at the moment though is that I've actually run out of places to insert people.

I can probably fit one in, but I'm not certain about two. I might be able to if you can link me to the footage.

Personally, I'd prefer to put Hector in, as he's an existing character at the moment, rather than a new one who plans could change over (or who's appearance might change). But that's my personal feelings.

If you can find me links to the trailers to download, I'd appreciate it a lot. I'm pretty tired of hunting for videos recently for this, so if you know what clips you want and what from, it really helps me a lot if you can find the links.

Since you've given me the name of the trailer for your new character, I'll see what I can do there. Hector, I'm less sure about. Dead or Alive is a game isn't it? If you can find a clip, I'll try it, but I'm not sure how well the style will meet.

EDIT: Okay, I've tried it. I put your Haldes character in, and to be honest, it doesn't look good. The video screen and obvious video gamey style really makes it stand out a lot, and it looks very out of place. As it is, I'd much rather leave him out, as he doesn't fit in with the Town of the Dead aesthetic at all (what is he, a robot?). Hector might fair better in the same slot. However, I'm making this for you guys, so if you really want him in there, I'll leave him in.

Alright, cool. If not, I advice trying fan made music videos. I find a lot of footage there. They usually frown on taking clips, but I think it's mostly clips where they've done their own editing, so as long as they're 'raw', it's pretty much okay.

I CAN keep him in if you really want him there, but at the moment it looks bizarre. There's vampires, werewolves, fighting humans, suddenly a big robot...it really stands out as not belonging.

There's also a certain tightness of running out of room for clips. I still need to put Damaris's clips in, if she can ever make them work and send them to me, and now Hector's on top of that. Not sure where I'll squeeze them, but I'll have a play. Sure I'll think of something.

However, if he looks too video gamey it might be best to leave him out anyway. =.=;

Okay. For now, I'll leave the characters out. You've still got time Az, so if you find something usuable it can be used.

Changing the avatar used for Hector is always possible. Hope's doesn't actually match up to who she is in the video (due to her avatar being just a picture, there was no way I could include it as a character).

I'll try and get those clips sorted out soon, promise. What I might have to do, seeing as mivie maker hates me, is try it in pinnacle and save it.... would a dmv file do? (i think it saves as a dmv anyway, i'll check later)

Other than that, i'll have to reimport the whole damn movie into movie maker.

Dmv? I've never had a dmv file. You sure it's not a wmv? Wmv I know of. Dmv, I've never heard of.

That said, odds are I can convert it whatever file type it is. It's just a bit harder, takes a bit longer.

I'm not sure how reimporting the entire movie would help when it seems that movie maker is complaining about the harddrive, so it might be a waste of time with that. Have you tried exporting a different clip in movie maker? If that works, at least you'd know it's the clips being problematic.

I figure re-import the movie, cuz the harddrive has plenty of space on it and stuffs, so it must have decided the original files have been moved, so re-do it and export it straight away and it should be fine. >.> *should*

Avi SHOULD work. I say 'should' because I've actually had problems with them before. But that's Movie Maker being crap and annoying. I can convert it so it'll work at least, though.

Movie maker may, for you, just not like whateve format it reads the movie clips in you imported. God knows it'd be Movie Maker's style to not work for some clips for no apparent reason...
