Gah. With my return, I've checked out this thread again and...fff. I still can't think of a RL counterpart for Zack. Sean Maher is pretty much the VISUAL I'd have in mind for a real life Zack, but I can't think of Simon doing anything badass in Firefly. ...Maybe Serenity? Dunno.
...hmm...hmm. I'll have a little look around though. See if I can find anyone else.

Decks Mal in Serenity, tries to shoot a few people in War Stories, and there's the shootout at the end of Serenity. He TRIES to do cool things a lot, he just never really succeeds...
Doesn't he fight Early too in the last episode? Or does he just get shot? I can't really remember.

Maybe the 'I try to do cool stuff' could be jigged around to actually look cool? Unless someone here knows of a knife throwing guy who looks like Zack in any films out there? Haha.

I know, but for a brief shot, it'd look okay, provided I left out the him getting shot bit  . Can't really think of any knife throwers from recent cinema, but there must be some. Bullseye from that godawful Daredevil movie is about it. And he looks nothing like Zack. Ohh, Dave Lister from that Wild West episode of Red Dwarf! Hang on, he looks even LESS like Zack... There must be one, but I can't think of any... |

I had another idea for Zack, but the only issue is I THINK the character in question has facial hair in the film I'm thinking of. Mmmmmmeeeerrrr. I was thinking of Ryan Reynolds, aka Hannibal King from Blade Trinity. Hair's a little lighter than ideal, but he's got a similar visual and physque to Zack. And...well. Whilst he doesn't always get it right, Hannibal has a similar smart-ass attitude to how I imagine Zack to have. ...just a thought, maybe?
Kinda fits too, seeing as King is supposed to be a crack shot with a pistol. Not so sure about knives though, haha...

Yeah. I was trying to think of a good character, and suddenly he just popped into my head. He fits the image well too, so I guess I can make some sacrifices regarding the facial hair!

Sanim from Raging Phoenix? I know he doesn't throw any knives but things go flying even without him standing up (You know the guy Becci. He's some kind of French Parkourist I think.)

Actually, technically, I have a feeling Zack requested that particular actor first, so he should probably get use him. I think with TOTD's current state anyway, Dillon won't get much use as it is, so it shouldn't matter |
