"I won't ask how you knew I was with others... But yes. These are my friends and comrades." Azrael noticed an uneasy look in Austin, and started to be more cautious about his new friend.

"Comrades? what, do you fight wars or something? sounds kinda fun! can i-" she cut off as she spotted Alucard looking round. she ran up to him "Hey you! Getting drunk as usual?" she asked in her cheerful voice "So, Mr Alucard, how are you to- what happend to you? your face is all mucky and your hands are shaking more than usual. Are you allright?" she asked sounding worried

Alucard asked, suprised by her apearence "You shouldnt be out in the town! you should tell me so i can look after you! and in answer to your question, i am ok thanks, just had a couple of accidents." he rubbed his face and hugged Kitten, then turned around to the rest of the group "This is kitten everyone, a good friend of mine"

"It doesn't matter... Everyone who has caused offence against Alucard has been killed. Too many people have been killed. We've only just come from a huge fight and have lost friends."

"I told you to take care of yourself, you silly boy." she said in a stern voice "Yourself and your friends" she lowered her voice when she said that, then wispered "You should leave the city, you could have so much more..."

He looked to her and said very sternly "My place is here, looking after the mortals like you... somebody has to, and its not the police." He looked around, turned back to Kitten and lowered his voice "what is wrong with you? I told you not to come into the city alone, and now you try and take me away from what i grew up in. im sure there are nicer lifes, but i dont need them, this one is fine... Why did you come here tonight? Did something happen?"
