Adrienne grinned back at Austin her eyes sparkling with humor."aye that is true Austin."she sat back in the chair and lightly slipped her shoulders out of the duster."as much as I love that jacket it is hot.."she dug around in her pockets for a half empty pack of cigarettes and a battered lighter.she took a cigarette from the pack and offered it to Austin.

he took a cigarette and before she could light hers, he had drawn his wolf's head lighter and had it lit infront of her

Azrael counted on this, and had had brought his sword around to block aside Kunoichi's (his attack was only a faint attack). He held her sword there, and she was quite open. Azrael smiled.
"Very impressive. You're better than my last teacher."

Kunoichi let him hold her sword there before running up him, kicking him under the chin with the last step before backflipping to land crouched a few feet infront of him, grinning

Adrienne smiled and said quietly:"thank you.I am sorry I was not here earlier Austin.I was taking care of my sister..she was attacked a few days ago..which is part of why I was hunting."brief pain showed in her eyes as she took a drag of the cigarette and let the smoke sooth her worries.

"the important thing is that you are here now"
he smiled warmly, taking a drag on his cigarette, his ears picked up the sound of Azrael and Kunoichi fighting outside and he chuckled
"Do you want a drink? Azrael and Kunoichi are fighting outside - they may be a while"

Adrienne nodded and her hand moved a stray lock of hair from her face her eyes seeming at once dull and older and far different from her normal self.she smiled and then said softly:"yes I'd like to have a drink with you."she looked at him and then taking another drag on her cigarette she relaxed.

Adrienne laughed and finished the last of her cigarette."Whiskey is always good Austin.unless you have something stronger..but I dont want to get too drunk.."she smiled and then her eyes turned a softer gray as she looked at Austin.

"i always drink whiskey, its my favourite, i can drink it by the gallon, i will however not get you drunk, if Azrael is right, i'll need you in top form in a short while"
he got up and walked over to the bar, ordering two whiskeys

"Aye..I'd rather be drunk but if I am needed it's best to be sober.."Adrienne nodded and lit another cigarette her hands shaking slightly from tiredness.

Adrienne smiled back at Austin shyly and took a glass politely."thank you for the drink."she raised her glass in salute to him and took a small drink of the whiskey enjoying the taste of it.

Azrael staggered back. His chin was stinging.
"I didn't realise you wanted to play that rough. Keep in mind that if you were hostile I would have cut your legs off instead of pushing you away."
Azrael attacked again with his sword.
