"Cypher, I didn't expect you to return. Could you wait a few minutes for Austin to arrive before debriefinf? He should be on his way now."

Austin walked in "just a flying visit, mine and Adrienne's trip was pretty straight forwards, nothing massive happened, i'm gonna go to bed, if you need me i'll be in my quarters - feel free to buzz me on the intercom" and with that he was gone in the direction of his quarters

It took Azrael a few seconds before the truth could sink in. The square knew where the circle was, and the circle didn't have a clue.
"But... The square could come at us at any time!"
Azrael paced around the room, head in his hands.
"That was a dirty trick. A good one, but a dirty one."
Before anything else happened, Pyro's voice could be heard yelling from the entrance.
"Ah crud. This has not been such a good day."
"...But then I suppose it has been for Austin in a way,"
Azrael knew he wouldn't get to the entrance before Austin, so he went to meet them half way.

Azrael returned to the office where he found Cypher waiting for him.
"You can leave if you want to you know,"
Azrael said smiling.

Jaden walked into the office to see if Austin was there. He saw he was not, so sat in the nearest chair to him. He knew that Austin would have to enter the office at some point. Jaden sat looking at the door, watching and waiting for Austin to enter. He gripped the dagger that Ara had given him. He hoped he would not have to use it.

Azrael follows Austin into the office...
"Sorry dude, but I was beginning to get a headache. I think we may have made a mistake."

Austin closed the door behind him, having held it open for Azrael. He sat down at his desk "okay, so what's the mistake?"

"Well... With the whole Rino destroying the world situation, we got desperate and have signed up members on the door...
I mean, yeah sure, Cindy is good to have around for her information on things, and Darkota obeys every order without question...
But Hope for example... She never follows orders. She doesn't know how to work as a team. I've tried to get along, but sometimes I just want to turn around and cut off her head!" Azrael said a little frustrated.
"I know we were low on circle members, but there was a desperate point where you were the only circle member, until you found me.
Even though the odds are against us, I don't think signing up people we don't know and trust is a very good idea.
Where we would normally have a sensible discussion on what to do next, we seem to be having an argument, where everyone is trying to make everyone elses suggestion sound stupid, even though everyone is correct from a certain point of view.
So I was hoping me and you could discuss things alone."

Austin nodded
"I see your point brother, but you have to look at it like this; if we want to beat Rino we have to accept whatever help we can get"
he considered for a second
"I know what you mean about Hope but she is young and headstrong, not too unlike you or me, she hasn't had the circle training like you or i. so sure, she is going to be like that, especially since she is a slayer; the word maverick runs through their blood"
he considered again
"and in truth, we are in a very difficult situation; we're trying to play chess with an apponent who's already taken fifteen of our pieces before he set the board up, so naturally there are going to be arguments about what happens next. we can win this, we're just going to have to pull together"

"Hope isn't just headstrong, she automaticly doubts anyone else...
All I'm saying is I'd like to be able to discuss the situation in a non hostile manner, like we used to.
The sword for example... If we can't figure out what else Rino's after, we're gonna have no choice but to go for the sword, otherwise it will be too late. Now I've already suggested that you should take a team to distract Rino, as he only seems to have an opinion of you, whilst the rest of us go after the sword, or another item we may learn about.
I would like to hear your opinion of this, without it being thrown down by someone else."
