"I am ready when you are dear."she murmured softly.she gently entwined her hand with his and looked at him her eyes a deep blue.reflecting her love and devotion to him.

Adrienne followed and as an impulse grabbed the bag with her medkit and supplies in it.she walked beside Austin and slung the bag over her shoulder."my father is at his apartment.it's not very far from my mothers,Tanja and I used to walk there when we were younger with him."she spoke softly.

Many weeks later:
Adrienne entered her quarters.shutting the door softly behind her and dropping quietly to the floor as her knees gave out.a single muffled sob escaping her throat.she shivered violently as she slipped out of her clothing and went into her bathroom,she turned on the shower and got into the hot water,feeling it blast her skin.she knew she wouldn't forget what she'd seen..she leaned against the shower wall and slid down."oh gods...."she whispered.she'd seen horrors as she'd walked by,fighting in the streets andsuch..she gagged then retched violently as she lost control on her stomach.she wiped her lips weakly and turned off the water,walking out of the shower she put on a towel and dried off then went and got dressed.curling up on her bed she drifted off to an exhausted and troubled sleep...

Ara woke with a muffled cry,sitting bolt upright in bed.her hands white knuckled on the blankets,shaking she looked around and let out a long sigh..she was in the HQ,not at her fathers apartment.and not with Collan.she put her head in her hands and rubbed her temples shivering she grabbed a long sleeve shirt and pulled it over her shoulders.then she walked quietly to her door and opened it stepping out into the corridor.

Austin carried Ara back into the room and laid her gently on her bed, carefully wrapping the covers around her before sitting down on a nearby chair and watching over her

Adrienne stirred briefly in her sleep before settling back into restless dreams,her hands clenched underneath the covers,her fathers ring on her right index finger slipping off slightly as she tossed and turned.she woke slightly and looked over at Austin.feeling feverish and ill but her gaze was steady,her eyes a soft blue."I'm sorry Austin.."she said softly."for the things that happen to us both..I'm sorry I had not given you enough warning beforehand of my seizures..I'd thought they would have gone away by now but I am guessing I was very wrong.."she shivered slightly her eyes changing colour as she spoke.

Adrienne gently touched his hand,her eyes softening as she gazed into Austin's.
"Austin..with all that you do my love..you never cease to amaze me.."she spoke softly,her eyes haf closing as she sank slowly into sleep again.
"you should go and debrief Kunoichi. see if she's all right.she took some fairly hard hits from what I'm guessing.I'll be here.I'm not going anywhere for a while I think...at least until this headache goes away and I am feeling better.."she spoke softly,still shivering slightly but more out of chill itself than fever.

"I'll return soon, you get some rest now, okay?"
he asked, it wasn't an order, merely a request from one lover to another. getting up he blew her a kiss before heading for the door

Adrienne caught Austin's kiss and smiled softly at him.
"I shall try."she answered to his request.she turned onto her side,watching him as he walked to the door.her eyes closing of their own will as she fell into sleep reassured by Austin and his words.
