The Carpark

[Austin]

Less than a minute later the desk phone rang, the inspector hurredly picked it up
"Inspector Veratus' Office?"
he listened for a second
"Ah, Commander, yes they're here, so good of you to call. I'll put you on the speakerphone"
he pressed a button on his desk and Austin's voice came from the speaker on the desk
"Right, this is your go order, I need you to be making your grand entrance in five minutes time, any questions?"

[Jaden Kalen]

"I think the only question on our minds is...Can we get going now?" Jaden said turning for the door, he was getting more impatience. He knew the storm was nearing closer and closer but at this rate he wondered if they were going to be to late.

[Austin]

"yes, go"
were Austin's last words before he signed off.

Inspector Veratus clicked off the speaker phone and grabbed his coat before heading towards the door
"head towards the roof, the swat team is waiting there"
he reached for his radio and spoke into it
"this is Veratus, we are go, repeat: we are go"

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi nodded and headed out of the door, following the signs for the roof
"well, we're finally on go, nervous?"
she asked Jaden quietly

[Jaden Kalen]

"Me… Nervous?" Jaden said with a sarcastic smile. "...yes" he said to her under his breath, his expression changing so quickly you wouldn't of know the smile was there. He followed Kunoichi and the detective out of the room. He looked from Kunoichi to Leiana, "You two okay?" he asked them both.

[Kunoichi]

"that's good, because so am I"
she replied under her breath, following the Inspector still.
"Yup, I'm okay, kinda looking forward to ending this"
she smiled, speaking out-loud this time.

[Leiana DarkFang]

Leiana's enhanced hearing picked up Jaden & Kunoichi's quiet conversation but she decided out of courtesy to ignore it.
"Yeah, I'm okay, looking forward to mopping up the demons i missed in the great war"
she grinned, though her eyes were slightly uneasy.

[Jaden Kalen]

"Good I'm not alone" Jaden said to Kunoichi under his breath. "I can't wait to get going" Jaden was getting more impatient once we were up in the helecopters and on the way he would be happier.

[Kunoichi]

they were led onto the roof, the three helecopters with their strike teams were waiting with their rotorblades idling.

The inspector handed each of them a head set
"You each go on one chopper, you will be dropped at three different corners of the second floor and I'm guessing you can meet in the middle, good luck"
he smiled, gesturing towards the three helecopters

"well..."
said Kunoichi, turning towards the others
"this is it"

[Jaden Kalen]

Jaden took the head set put it on and then switched the power on. "This is it alright" said Jaden repeating what Kunoichi had said. "Are you ready?" he asked them both.

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi smiled slightly, her eyes showing her nervousness
"as ready as i'll ever be"

[Leiana DarkFang]

Leiana nodded and smiled slightly
"lets do this"

[Jaden Kalen]

Jaden nodded, "Lets do it"

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi grinned
"Shotgun the one in the middle!"
she called, dashing towards the helecopter, her body language showing none of her previous nervousness
"Oh... and lowest kill count buys the beer tonight!"
she giggled softly over the intercom

[Leiana DarkFang]

Leiana laughed
"you two sure you can keep up with me?"
she asked playfully over the intercom, heading towards a helicopter of her own, her own nervousness broken.
