[Hope Mêler]

"Well, if it is as you say, that he's watching us, he'll be down once we start doing something, or enjoying the show of Carla beating us up. Not that she can, or anything." She hurriedly added and shook her head.

"No, we have no choice. I don't like it, but we must leave. This is a lose-lose situation for us..."

She sighed.

"You don't know how much I'd like to beat the crap out of Carla, but Rino would just come down here and kill us all. We have to be rational and come back once we have a plan. Your stup --, I mean our stupidity brought us here, now let's see if it can bring us back to the HQs."

The sooner, the better. I want to tell Rino something useful. Then talk to Carla and gloat. That excuse for a sassy woman can't possibly be of any use to him! I'll spit in Miss-Wanna-Be-Cool's face and... beat her down and step on her. Then stab her, and make her die, die, die! But first she will suffer, from the horrible pa---.

"What?" Hope snapped back from her train of thought. "Did someone say something?"

[Jaden Kalen]

"No Hope it was you who wanted to come here and we can't report back to Austin that we came walked in and did nothing, Hope we have an Assassin Me, a ninja assassin Kunoichi and a slayer you, there must be a way we can use those skills now. Kunoichi any ideas?" Jaden asked not wanting to go back without information.

[Hope Mêler]

"Well, it'd be much easier for me to blend in as a business woman if you hadn't come with your ninja outfit and assassin gear! Much help you are!" She replied angrily.

"And if you stay here you will maybe get some information, but you'll get killed before you can pass it on. Let go of your pride and stop being so damned stupid! When we have no chance of doing good work, or even work altogether, we leave." She fumed. "I don't know Austin as well as you, but a good boss would not want the members of his precious Circle to lose their lives because they went into the enemy's den without making a proper plan or having any chance of surviving whatsoever! You saw what Rino can do at the bar and you want to encounter that again, without making any preperations?"

"You idiots," she mumbled. "Believe that you can do anything just because you're ninjas and assasins. Well, go meet the demon, go get yourselves killed."

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi nodded
"I can see no other option, we leave now; we've shown him that we know where he is; we're going to have to pick our time and come back in force, the three of us just isn't enough against Rino"
she turned to Jaden
"you saw what he could do; we have no offence on him"

[Jaden Kalen]

Jaden looked at Hope wondering why she was so desparate to leave, Kunoichi Austin asked us to watch Hope and she is acting weird. Earlier she was being nice then she asks to join the circle, once that happened she asked to come here alone after seeing what the demon could do she would willingly walk back into the place she got beaten up before. Looks like we have something to report to Austin afterall Jaden sent the thought to Kunoichi.

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi caught Jaden's eye and nodded
Looks like it, I reccomend we head back to Austin; if she tries to go her own route, i'll follow her

[Hope Mêler]

"Well?" Hope looked at Jaden. "Two of us say 'leave', one of us says 'stay'. I guess right now, this is going to be a democracy, so we leave. Let's get out of here." She turned her back to him and walked over to Carla.

"Thanks for your help, but we'll leave now - make our decisions in a... better environment. If we choose to use the Advocate's I'll see you around." For worse or better...

She started walking towards the door, hoping that Kunoichi, and especially Jaden was following her. In a quarter of an hour two out of three people that she'd interacted with had managed to seriously piss her off, and that made her impatient. They were all fools for coming here in the first place, but Jaden more so for blaming it on her. Sure, she'd suggested it, but he decided to come along. Shouldn't have done that if he thought it was such a bad idea.

[Carla Glenn]

Carla smiled and put on her gloves again.
"Of course. I understand. Be seeing you." She waved with another smile, this time genuine.

Although only because her mind had just erupted into song:

Hope's scaaaared of me! Hope's scaaaared of me! I win! I'm better! La la la la la!

Carla was kinda glad she wasn't singing that out loud.

"Be sure to come back and let me know your decision!" Carla almost singsonged that, too occupied with her mental victory dance over Hope.

Although she guessed she was doing good undercover work...

Nah, to heck with that. More to focus on the victory!

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi followed Hope, making a mental note of Carla's face for future engagements.
At least we've shown Rino that we know where he is i guess, the game continues... one false move and we're history
she spoke to hope quietly
"let's report back to Austin; we may not have achieved much but i'm sure he can pick up something from this"

[Hope Mêler]

"Yeah, we should," Hope said as she swung the door open and took a breath of the fresh air. "Aah, fine Carla-free air!" She smiled.

"Now it's your turn to show me the way, I guess," she said to Kunoichi and Jaden. "I still don't know where the headquarters are."

Lemme know, lemme know, lemme know, lemme know, she thought gleefully.

Jaden followed them out, then turned to Kunoichi She seems to really want to get to the headquarters. Do you want me to take her while you go a head and tell Austin what we have found out? Jaden sent the thought to Kunoichi.

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi shook her head
You are too suspicious Jaden, she's just nervous; it's her first day as a deputy
she spoke outloud now, feeling that it was unfair to not involve Hope in the conversation
"Right, let's head back to HQ"
with that she led off towards the south side and the circle's HQ

After leaving the Circle's HQ Hope started walking around the town, apparently aimlessly, but she was of course aiming to end up at the Devil's Advocates. When she'd made sure that she wasn't being followed by any members of the Circle she started walking towards the gigantic skyscraper.

Soon, the skyscraper loomed over her, and she walked up the steps to the foyer. Inside, no one took notice of her. Hope gave out a sigh of relief when she realised that Carla wasn't there to "welcome" her. She walked to an elevator, but realised that she didn't remember what floor Rino's office was on or where it was on that floor.

"Damn," Hope cursed to herself and looked around her - some help would surely magically appear! It was Rino's place for Christ's sake!

[Carla Glenn]

Carla had been waiting for Hope to come back and 'report', just waiting to see what she knew. And as such, she had security tell her as soon as she had entered the building.

In moments, she headed to the elevator confidently, spottign Hope, looking puzzled at the numbers.

She doesn't know where Rino's office is! HA!

She stepped into the elevator and smiled at Hope.

"Going up?" She asked with perfect politeness.

This was going to be fun.
