" Well go join her," Jagger said smartly as she looked at Hope, still lying hopelessly on the ground ten feet away. "I personally don't see why you care. I'm not bothering you! So why don't you just back the hell off!" Jagger turned quicky and kicked the werecat square in the stomach three times as hard as she had hit Hope.[/b]

Using her reactions to the full, Leiana caught the foot and spun in an attempt to use the vampire's own momentum to send her into a wall

Jagger pulled her foot loose of the girl's grip and before she hit the wall she flew into the air as a bat. Jagger flew over and stood in front of her new enemy. "Smart girl." Jagger said lightly.She took a step back and looked at her.

Leiana chuckled softly, her eyes watching those of her newfound enemy
she isn't bad for one of them...
she crouched slightly into her ready stance, ready and waiting for the Vampire to make the first move

My my... Tonight has got interesting suddenly.
She stretched and laid down on the wall, then kept on watching the show

[Hope Mêler]

Hope sprang up and ran away from the fire. She wiped some dust off her sleeves, and ran behind the vampire, smiling to the werecat.

"You really didn't think that was gonna put me out of the game, did ya?" She said smugly, holding a stake in her hand, waiting for the vampire to turn.

"I was hoping,"Jagger said slowly.She moved back and stepped off."Why kill vampires?" She asked as hse started walking off backwards. She was actually afraid of the slayer.She stopped and looked at the werecat.[/b]

Leiana smiled back at the slayer, slightly relieved to see that her prospective ally was up and around
"Evening"
she then returned the Vampire's gaze, still fighting the urge to change, noting with amusement the Vamp's fear of the slayer

[Hope Mêler]

"Oh," Hope mused. "It's because I'm a slayer. The protector of human beings. Those you kill and a drink blood from, remember? So I kinda have to dust you. Also, I think it's fun!" She smiled politely. "But, less talk, more slaying!"

The slayer started walking forwards, following the vampire who was backing away from her.

[Rino]

"Now, this got lively." Rino chuckled, who had up until now been silent. "But this ends. NOW!" He suddenly bellowed with such a roar the ground shook, and a few stones seemed to crumble from the nearby buildings. Fire flared up in both of his hands, and he poised to fling a fireball at both the slayer and the lycanthrope.

"Vampire. I accept your terms." He said simply, without so much as a glance at Hope, despite her certainty he'd decline. "You will have my protection from slayers. Because, mark my words, nobody messes with those in my employ. NOBODY!" He roared again, this time directly at her, and again the ground shook.

"As for not killing you, of course I give you my word." He grinned. "But a bright girl like you knows that's worthless. But, you're in a tricky situation. And right now, my way out is the best you've got. Plus, if you please me, you'll live." He was casual with this. "Remember, pleasing me and being an obedient little puppy are not the same." He added, knowing she'd instantly point out how bad at work she was. "I like your attitude. Keep showing that and you'll stay alive." He paused, as though delivering a side note. "Well, as alive as vampires get."

He then moved from his pose, and stood down, standing straight. He had said what he had to say to the vampire, so he no longer had to ward off the others.
"Now, do you two want to die, or are you going to go away?" He asked Hope and the newcomer.

Jagger walked around Hope and went back over and stood next to Rino. For some odd reason she felt safer next to him. Right now, she would feel safe next to anyone who wasn't holding a stake.She shot a look of fear and anger towards Leiana and Hope.

Leiana growled softly, the blood feud refusing to let her leave. she stood her ground and returned Mikaela's gaze levelly.

[Hope Mêler]

Hope gave a startled look at the demon the first time he roared, but the second time she just raised an eyebrow. When he accepted Mikaela's offer she laughed to herself in disbelief. What an idiot he was. Both him and the vampire. Really.

"I'm just fine where I am now, thanks," she replied. "I'll pass the being killed thing though."

[Rino]

"One comes with the other." Rino told Hope softly, moving before he even finished his sentance to grab her by her arms and throw her into the lycanthrope.

As soon as he let her go he vanished, and reappeared behind the werecat, kicking her hard in the back to send her flying directly into Hope, who was still coming straight for her.

"Ah. Leiana." Rino grinned, his mind reaching out into hers. "You fought in the Great War, didn't you?" His voice seemed to lower a shade, and again his eyes darkened. "Then you should know who I am. And if you know that, you know that you cannot win this battle."

Jagger watched Rino kick Leiana into Hope. She put her hand over her mouth and tried to supress a laugh. She moved back and sat down on a bench next to the building and watched Hope curiously.
