Zack stood a little way from Kana, eyes closely watching Vincent's motions. He was quick at movement himself, but he was not capable of flickering so it was something to behold for him. He could see exactly why Vincent was a man to be fierce - he handled his rapier with such precision, and showed no remorse. It was somewhat impressive.
"That's a half-demon?" he said, finally, turning his head slightly to look at Kana, "I've never seen one before."

Kana turned his head towards Zack.
"Yes, thats a half-demon. One of the more powerful ones. Try not to be too impressed." He said mockingly, filling his words with the contempt he felt.
"Rather a quaint weapon he has." He remarked sourly.

Zack rose one eyebrow; something told him that Kana would much rather be back in the other room continuing with interrogation than out here. Still, he wouldn't say he was impressed by the half-demon, it was more something new.
His eyes lingered to the scythe now partially stuck in the ground,
"Quaint? Well, it's certainly a larger weapon than what I'd like to handle," he said with a shrug, before asking, "So, am I to assume you and/or your brother have run into this half-demon before?"

Kana glanced at the scene before them.
"Well I've never seen him before. I assume he's an aquaintence of my brothers." He turned and stuck his head around the door he had just come through.
"Send someone to bring me a glass of red wine." He instructed the doorman. The doorman, wisely, had moved out of the way when Kana had flung the door open. "and..." he turned to Zack.
"A drink?" He asked. "This could go on for quite some time."

Zack shrugged slightly, and seated himself on the floor, leaning back against the wall with his legs propped up,
"A drink? Hmm. Vodka and coke," he said, might as well go for something basic. He rummaged around in his pockets, finding his cigarettes but choosing not to light one up, instead him pulled one out and twirled it absently around his fingers.
"A while, huh. I'm kinda curious to see just how your brother fights."

Kana looked at the doorman, who nodded. "Yes, sir." he said, before hurrying down the corridor.
Kana leant against the wall again.
"The way my brother fights?" Kana smirked. "My brother fights seldom and expertly. Doubtless he would expect you to consider yourself honoured to witness it." He scoffed.
The doorman returned, carrying the drinks he had been sent for. Kana took his wine and sipped it, watching Vincent over the top of the glass.

Zack grinned wryly, his eyes focusing on the rapier Vincent was wielding,
"I somehow got that impression. I also think this must be a special occasion because that," he jabbed the hand that wasn't preoccupied reaching for his drink towards the bladed weapon, "is one very beautiful and very expensive looking rapier. I know about five people who'd kill to even look at that," he added sipping the alcohol laced beverage with a satisfied look on his face.

Hector was surprised at the ease it took to shatter his weapon.
After using it hundreds of times before to cleave straight through people he couldn't understand how it would break now of all times.
No matter Hector thought grinning.
With one hand reached out, he used his control of wind to pick up the shatter pieces of sharp metal and send them all hurling towards Vincent hopefully piercing his heart. Hector ducked as they came towards them.
Dodge that! He thought to himself, as he rose back up again, aiming a punch to the lower chin of Vincent in case his attack failed for some reason. The strength of the attack would easily knock an opponent of their feet.

Vincent saw Hector duck and before he had a chance to rise again. Vincent flickered away from Hector appear a slight distance away.
"I see you fight dirty" Vincent said casually, "I like that. You will make a good employee"
He began to pace towards Hector. "Interesting isn't it. I have a wide range of books about your kind. My father even had a few of as servants. I never saw the real attraction. Your kind is weak and untrustworthy. A pity really. Just by the naming of you, you are trapped. To big a weakness to make any real use of you." Vincent stared at Hector his eyes lost in thought.
"Wind. Unusual. Why my I ask did you choose to control such a pointless element? Surely their are others that would be of more use?" Vincent paused. "It is odd isn't it? Their are so few of your kind that control the wind. Which one are you I wonder?"
Vincent scanned his memory of all the demons he knew that could control wind. He smiled broadly and turned to where Belle was leant on the wall. "You see now why I made you sit in my library and learn about Demons when you were younger?"
He then turned back to Hector "What was it that Human called you? Lector was it?" Vincent asked. "Does he know your true name?" Vincent asked. "So that’s his game. Send you here to try and kill me." Vincent laughed. "I wasn’t aware he was a comedian. Is he so weak he had to hide from me and send you?" A venous smile took over his face.
He ran his tongue over his fangs. "I have always wondered what it was like to drink the blood of a demon. I wonder if you get the same from a half breed" He lifted his rapier and waited in a fighting stance.

(Nice post dude!)
Hector smiled at Vincent.
"As do you... Where did you learn to dissappear like that?" He asked, realising this fight would be harder than he thought.
"Tis a pity, no one knows my real name. Not even I!" Hector replied, assuming that he would be blank from those kind of records. Hector was wrong to think that.
"I control the wind cos, unlike other demons, I realise the true power behind it. Slowing the attacks of enemies, speeding up my own. Using the environment as a tool against my foes. Helping those who fight for me without breaking a sweat. Why should I need elements like fire to damage my opponents, when I am capable of doing that with my bare hands!" Hector answered, as he proudly picked up durt around him using his power over wind.
"My name is Hector, and no the human did not send me. No one has that kind of contorl over me, for I bow to no one. I came to fight you myself, to satisfy my own pleasure."
Hector used the wind to retrieve the pole that previously was a scythe before the blade shattered. As blunt as it was, it would still defend from a rapier. He twirled it around in his fingers, like a human could do with a pencil, and then dropped into a fighting stance.
"Let me see you do your dissappearing act again," Hector taunted.

"Yes, Hector, that was it." Vincent scanned his memory. "Unfortunate that that name does not appear in the list of pseudonyms of wind demons."
Vincent stood in silence watching as Hector retrieved his scythe's pole. "Lets total up what we have got here then: An arrogant wind demon that is impervious to harm from ordinary bullets and uses, sorry used to use a scythe. None of which match any description of wind demon that I have. A shame, looks like we are going to have to see your true form before we can identify you." Vincent smiled again.
"I can narrow it down though. You cannot be Arrentious, he carries a trident and was sent back to hell. You cannot either be Zandromass because all sources of him indicate he was nine feet tall, bald and used both wind and ice. Also you cannot be Reflagorn because he a bit bigger than you, carried a large two-handed-sword used rain and wind and most of all because I killed him around five hundred years ago in France. You aren’t his son are you?" Vincent asked feeling victory in his grasp.

Hector suddenly felt a wave of tension come across him...
Reflagorn... Hector thought to himself. He recognised the name, but he couldn't remember his father at all. He was raised in later life by his father after he killed his mother, but that was...
About five hundred years ago, Hector thought to himselfm now panicing. What's more is the two handed sword that Hector owned was passed down to him by his father. Thank goodness he didn't have it with him right now.
Hector kept a smile on and concentrated with all his might to prevent Vincent from reading his thoughts.
"Sorry, never heard of them," Hector replied cockily. "You sure do your research well though..."
Hector was left in a position. If he stayed, Vincent might know Hector's forgotten name and tell it to him, thus bringing him to his knees. If he teleported now, Vincent will know that Hector is bluffing. He had to kill Vincent now. Without turning into his demon form, otherwise he'll just give himself away.
With one movement he turned his back on Vincent, bit into the pole to break it into a nice sharp pointy javelin, turned around and hurled it with demon strength towards Vincent's heart.
"DIE!" He shouted, almost forgetting that Vincent can flicker.

Vincent sensed that Hector was trying to block him from reading his thoughts.
So he is Reflagorn's son. At last. Victory Vincent thought to himself.
He saw the shoddily made javelin hurtling towards him and at the last instant flickered to stand just behind Hector bringing the point of his rapier to rest on Hectors spine. He lent forward slightly with a victorious smile on his face, and whispered Hectors true name into his ear, so that only he and Hector could hear it.

Hector smiled, ready to let Vincent put his sword through his back. If he did that, Hector could snap it in half or dissarm him by simply turning.
This was not, however, what Vincent had in mind. Hector realised too late, when he was forced to remember his own name.
No... he thought for a split second, as he felt like gravity had become a thousand times stronger, pulling him to his knees.
His thoughts raced, but then suddenly the thought of serving Vincent became a lot more attractive.
