I've got to admit, I feel zombies are a little played out lately. We need like, killer dinosaurs or something that nobody sees coming

Dinosaurs with freaking laser beams on their heads?
But yeah... Zombies have kinda been done to death of late, we need something new... something awesome

Actually, I quite seriously vote for some kind of time travel/alternate dimension adventure.
Pretty much every 90's TV show had one episode where either the main hero/es got sent into the future, and thus the world had been trashed because they hadn't existed in the present, or sent into a reality where they'd never come to be the hero they were in the first place so everything was still trashed.
We could probably make a pretty good plot out of it. Especially if we went to the future without certain characters, and we could run into their future selves who could be all kinds of different.

that could be kinda entertaining... failing that we could do something Nightwatchy and have us dropped back in time to the middle of the great war?

I thought of that, but I prefer the idea it's the future, because then we can have badass alternate versions of the characters that were left behind.
We joked about it once before, the EHPD being sent into the future, and finding Eliza was now the captain of the EHPD, and a total badass.
You know, that kind of thing. Fun twists on characters.

hmm I'm not sure how easy something like that would be to run with the amount of people we have here... kinda difficult to co-ordinate

We'd have to plan who time travels and who doesn't before we start, I think. And from there part of the fun can be seeing what people do with their alternative-future versions of their characters.

I'm alive again xD I finished Snuff a while ago (I had to wait until I finished the new Song of Ice and Fire book first xD) and it was awesome To catch up to everyone else : I like the time-travel idea, and I like the "going back in time a lá Night Watch" idea, but that would be kinda hard to co-ordinate site-wide. I did love the idea that was floating around aaaages ago where Hadrian and Eleri go back to just after Wright joined the EHPD though xD Going forward, however, would be cool and I think simpler. If you restricted it to one (maybe two) character(s) per person that went forward in time, it shouldn't be too hard. Then again, you've got to figure out timelines for everyone that didn't I suppose.... I would *love* to see a bad-ass future-Eliza though! <Edit : and I posted! Finally!>

You know, I was actually a little disappointed by Snuff. It was good, but after how good Night Watch and Thud were, it felt a little disappointing. He didn't expand on as much as he could have, and I felt like it really missed out on having the rest of the Watch in there more.
It kinda felt like there were some bits missing, to me.
We could do forward and back in time. Some get sent back, some get sent forwards.

I don't know, I'm not sure time travel would really work for the medium...
it *could* be done really well but it would be difficult to put together in a manner that wouldn't be entirely confusing and cause brain explosions
also: I have updated my bio as I feel quite frankly that the old one sucked

I dunno, it's supernatural fantasy, time travel is part and parcel of the genre.
We could just do it with the EHPD though if you don't fancy it.

Eh, I tend to be highly biased towards any Sam Vimes books xD I know what you mean though, not having the rest of the Watch for most of it did kinda suck a bit. Also, ooooh brain'splosion room! *giggles and runs off* *reappears some time later* k, bored of that now. Oooh, mixing up the time travel, some going one way and some the other, would be very confusing >.> Either way though, I do want to do one or the other with Eleri. What if, rather than have it go site-wide as the main plot, we relegate it to the Misc. section as a single thread and let people join in or not as they please? That way - time travel fun for those who want it, no confusion for people who don't Also, we needs to poke Jess and Becci. And Simon. And what happened to Jaden? I though he was coming back? :/

And what happened to Jaden? I though he was coming back? :/ No idea, I said he could come back but I haven't heard a word from him since - I don't think he's logged in since...
