Thoughts for the future:
Carla has demon allies, right? She could have them brutalise and murder everyone in a small area such that there are no living witnesses. The Night Watch turn up as they are first to catch wind. there could be a small fight or just a staredown. Then the demon's leave, and when people and/or police turn up, all they see are murder victims and the Night Watch. It will make them look untrustworthy.

Oh that would be perfect for Steven and Miranda as they work for the Edgehaven Gazette it might be a good story for the newspaper!
Also as Jaden is on holiday he wouldn't be culpable so double win for me!

Yeah I do like the idea of public opinion being swept up against the Watch and us becoming wanted... Hate to say it but Jaden would be called back from leave should that happen  |

Awe man! That's just typical! The only holiday that Jaden has taken after years of service and then its ruined by the forces of evil.
Although it would be a laugh to have Jaden blissfully unaware of whats going on in Edgehaven and enjoying his holiday then getting a call from Austin saying something along the lines of:
*Jaden's phone rings*
Jaden: "Hey Austin, hows everything?"
Austin: "How's everything?!! What do you mean hows everything?!! Haven't you heard?"
Jaden: "Heard what?"
Austin: "Turn on the TV."
Jaden: "What channel?"
Austin: "Doesn't matter."
*Jaden turns B&B TV on. Sees headline scrolling across screen on every channel NIGHT WATCH WANTED!*
Jaden: "... I see... I guess my holidays being cut short then?"
Austin: "You think?"
Also it would be great if this could happen soon. I don't know if anyone has been reading Steven's thread but he's in desperate need of a story for the Gazette and something this big could save his bacon.

I like it - it's a good way to involve everyone but keep the focus on the Night Watch. Plus -dramaaaa!  and doesn't every good superhero have at least one point where everyone turns on them? They can be like Batman! The heroes Edgehaven needs, but not the ones it deserves. ....I might be a bit high on cough syrup and cold tablets, please excuse the rambling xD |

Oh yeah, and Jaden : I had another idea. You know Miranda has this big story about Carla and the Night Watch? Well I thought maybe she could have that rejected on the premise that posting shit about the Night Watch is professional suicide, which would knock her down a peg and give Steven a chance to get a story in.
Obviously, she's pissed, so while Steven is suddenly getting all the praise, she goes on a private rampage, determined to get more stories about the Night Watch and then when it all *really* blows up, she has a bucket-load of stories she's been saving. So Steven could get the big story, the one that drags Jaden back off his holiday, and then Miranda really fuels the flames, getting a Rita Skeeter-style comeback.
Just and idea, but what do you think?

Alright you lot, you can quit slacking, I'm back now . Seriously, sorry for the delay. I've been pretty busy with quite a lot of stuff recently, but know I'm needed back here. So here I am! I honestly think though we should consider reformatting the site a little. Remember a little while back we discussed changing it so it ran by storyline instead of location? That way, we wouldn't end up with characters tied up in specific threads, since two storylines could take place at once, and it might make things freer and flow easier. What do you guys reckon? Either way, I'm back now. Can't have that EHPD lot slacking off without their captain around |

Just chucking this in there: Whoever controls Carla previously stated that they did not care for the continuing her existance. As an act of screwing up the Night Watch completely, she could allow herself to be martyred by Kunoichi. In a similar act to her previous one in the broken bottle, it would appear that the Night Watch have assassinated an innocent woman. That could be the final trigger that starts an uprising. The fact that Carla was the one to make it go out of proportion would be poetic.  |

I control Carla . As a character, she's pretty fed up with things and would happily die to screw over the Night Watch, but as a writer, I'd really rather not kill her off because she works quite well as a reoccuring villain when we need a generic fight or somebody to plot something without it being 'world ending'. |

Okay, from what I've seen we've got a few plotlines we can run with.
Anti-Night Watch sentiments with Carla stirring trouble and Miranda hording tasty juicy naughtiness. Not to mention their own recruitment troubles.
We've got the potential Kana vs Belle with a surprise twist of OMFG Vincent isn't really dead! (we did keep the option open Jaden, everyone else just THINKS he's dead. No one ever saw the final moments or indeed his death. You know what this means. IF THERE'S NO BODY AND NO ON SCREEN DEAD - THEY'RE NOT DEAD DDDD8 dun dun dun *dramatic music*.)
We've got the EHPD with future drama with Head Office, new recruits and Dawn.
The Broken Bottle has its Ninja Stalkers and there's always Miranda sniffing around as well as Kana lurking to snag Zack.
Spoke to Becci as well, she's still unsure about whether or not she wants to come back. I'll prod her again but I doubt it.
