Harmony didnt always catch on to things as quickly as others sometimes. And if something was obvious to others, but she didnt get it, she would assume it wasnt obvious. She was smarter than Dillon though. But she didnt think that was a hard thing to achieve.
"Thinking what too?" she asked innocently. "And whats up with you're eyebrows?... They look like they're trying to hide from us...".

Felix nodded seriously, "Yes, crazy Slayers and werewolves tend to scare them up into my hairline. They're shy see, dislike the attention." He informed her in a complete and utter deadpan, only the ever so slight twitch to his lips betraying his amusement.

"Aww how cute. Your eyebrows have minds of their own." She giggled.
She finished her pint and thought about ordering a soft drink this time. She could feel the alcohol taking slight affect and she hadn't really mixed with any other species before so she wanted to keep her wits about her.
"Can I have a lemonade please?" She said with a polite smile.

He nodded and reached for a clean glass, taking her dirty one in the other hand and putting it in a wire tray as he reached for the hose in the other after having dropped a few ice cubes into the clean glass. Pressing down one of the buttons he filled it and pushed it back towards her, "That'll be £1.30 please."

Harmony rummaged in her jeans pockets and took out her mobile before being able to feel around for some money.
She then pulled out a £5 note and handed it to Felix "Thank you" She said and took a sip of the drink.

Madoc let out a small chuckle. "Which thought?" He asked Felix, grinning. He turned to Harmony at her question, and winked in response. He watched the exchange between the two blonds with amusement, pondering vaguely over whether to get another drink or not. He decided against, and picked at the bag of nuts still on the bar.

Harmony just smiled as she still didnt fully understand what was going on. "Not having a drink Madoc?" She smiled.

Popping another icecube into his mouth Felix turned to the circle members, feeling the airs on the back of his neck rise up again as his stomach churned nervously.
"So... What does the Night Watch actually do?" He asked, carefully avoiding eye contact, "I've heard Moe and the regulars complain often enough but I haven't gotten anything actually about what you do. Aside from mass property damage." He added under his breath as he grabbed a cloth and began to wipe up the spilt beer on the counter behind the bar.

Austin considered this "we work our asses off so that people can sit on theirs and complain about us" he waited a moment, allowing the meaning of what he'd just said to hang in the air, before smiling disarmingly to show that he was joking "in all honesty; if you can't tell what we're doing, we're doing our job right" he said, before adding "and the odd bit of collateral property damage is a small price to pay for peace, no? besides all good insurance companies cover 'acts of night watch' these days"

"So you're like undercover agents?" Harmony added to the converstion.
She was still quite curious of Austin as he was the only other were she'd been this close up to, other than her family members. She wanted to try and interact with him a bit more, see how other weres act.

Austin raised an eyebrow as he considered this "with the exception of not being undercover agents, yes"

Harmony took a while to think about the answer Austin had given.
"OK, cool" She smiled, thinking it was an easy way to hide her slight ditzyness.

Felix nodded, it didn't answer his question much and he kind of wanted to probe further, but self-preservation instincts were nice. And his mobile phone had just gone off - someone was calling him.
"'Scuse me." He apologised before moving away from the bar to stand in the doorway, listening to the person on the other line, his eyes widening ever so slightly as his mouth tilted upwards a touch. "I see. Thanks for telling me. Yeah.... uh-huh... I might be able to... No. I can't do that, not that quickly... you only just told me now. I'm not superman... Yes I can... if you-.... shut up alright? I said I'd help." And he hung up, scowling.
"Zack, can you watch the bar again while I get Moe? Harmony, do me a favour? Stop him from running his mouth? Please?" He asked before vanishing into the back without waiting for an answer. He had ordered some supplies a while ago and they were only just coming through, apparently the company had lost their usual driver to a Vamp and had found it difficult to fill the spot - i.e. find someone with big enough balls to drive a truck of booze into Edgehaven.
A few words with Moe later and the sour old man was storming back into the bar while the young Day Walker moved out the back to flag the driver down and help unload.

Moe kept himself firmly away from the Watch, not trusting himself not to give them the tongue lashing of the century as he concentrated on pulling drinks for his regulars at this end. Those young folk could sort themselves out or go without.
Outside Felix was unloading the crates of drinks and the barrels as quickly and efficiently as possible. The longer he left Moe in there with the Watch, the more chance there was of him opening his mouth and starting a fight, and that was the last thing they needed! The only thing that could make this situation worse was if Captain Wright and his Police Team showed up!!
"Thanks Tom," he called to the driver as he finally dropped the last of the metal kegs into the basement ready to be hooked up to the taps. "Are you going to be a regular driver or am I going to have to wait for another one?" He asked.
Tom shrugged a shoulder, "Depends on how much pay I get for this." Felix nodded, reasonable enough.
"You have my number if you're going to make another drop. Later." He called, waving as he shut the back of the lorry up and stepped back, watching it drive off into the twilight.
Right, time to get everything hooked up and back into the bar ASAP. He'd only attach the ones that were low, everything else could sit and wait until it was needed.
