Yumi gripped the thick straps of her backpack perched around her shoulders tightly. Not only had this been the first time that she had traveled without her parents or anyone to guide her, but it was the farthest she had ever gone in search of someone. The young girl opened a folded letter and a picture. She stood still and looked at it for what seemed like hours. The picture was of her mother and father, and the letter read;
"Yumi,
If you read this, then it's most probable that you've killed us. Your mother and I know that it's a harsh truth to face up to, but it's the likelihood of what's happened. If it was you that killed us, then you're a werewolf. Neither of us know how this happened, but it must have been some sort of evil at work.
It is in your best interests to leave home and seek out the Town Of The Dead. We think that it's best that you go there, as I've heard rumor about a group of people who are like you, and they may be able to help. We think that your cousing, Jaden Kalen is in that group too. We hope that you grow to be an amazing woman.
With love, always.
Okaa san and Otoo san."
As the seven year old read the heartwarming letter, a small tear ran down her face and dripped off her chin onto the floor. She smiled and tried to think away her homesickness.

Yumi walked over to a nearby woman who she had noticed before. She looked up at the woman with the widest eyes possible and asked
"Excuse me, but do you know someone called Jaden Kalen?"
"I think that i've heard of him," The woman replied. She looked up in thought then returned her gaze to the small child. "He's a member of the circle I think. Last time I heard, at least." The woman shrugged and crouched down to the girl's eyeheight. You look hungry, would you like something to eat?" The woman asked, putting her hand on the girl's shoulder.
"No thank you. I need to find Jaden nii sama." She said with alarge smile on her face. "Thank you for the stuff."
The woman smiled and returned to her normal height. She then walked off down the street.
"Oh." Yumi said out of surprise. "So where is the circle thingy?" She said out loud.
"I know where it is.." An ominous voice said from the alleyway nearby.
Yumi walked over to the alleyway and peered in. "Hello?" She asked, a little afraid.
"Come closer, I don't bite." The ominous voice concluded.

Yumi walked further into the concealment of the alleyway towards the voice. After a couple of seconds, her eyesight adjusted to see a man.
"You want to find the circle, then?" The man asked.
"Yes please! My cousin is there." The girl said, an innocent smile on her face.
The man was staring at Yumi's neck, unable to tear his eyes away from the sight. "There is the matter of payment to discuss..."
"Hm?" She replied, turning around to look behind her to try to find what the man was staring at so intently.
As the girl's back was turned, the man jumped, making the seven year-old fall to the hard ground.
"That was mean!" The girl exclaimed, turning over to face the man once more. She felt a slight tingle on her arm where a small cut had emerged from the fall. A single drop of blood erupted from the wound and was making it's way down her forearm to the floor.
The man witnessed this act and at once pounced at the girl, in a crazed frenzy for blood.
Yumi scrambled to her feet and tried to run away, when her fear took the better of her. She started to change into her alternate form. "No... Please no!" The girl cried, tears erupting from her green eyes. Her forearms became shaggy, and her mouth and nose merged into a muzzle. She looked back at the man, who was now stricken with fear at the werewolf before him.
Yumi raised her head to the sky and let out an ear piercing howl.
The man attempted to run away, but was quickly blocked off by the small werewolf.

Graham was minding his own business, trying to draw money from the cash machine with his powers, but he froze when he heard the name 'Jaden'.
I recognise that name... Graham thought, trying to rake his brain for the vision he dreamt the night before. He remembered it was really important, but when he had awoken he had forgotten the whole thing. Graham listened in closer, but the event started becoming agressive.
Graham considered rendering the wolf down and force knowledge of Jaden out of her, but he thought better of it.
Time to get out of here I think, Graham thought, vanishing on the spot.

"It's in the Southern Quadrant!" The petrified man yelled, hoping to escape the small girl's wrath.
He was lucky.
Yumi had just heard the sound of helicopters flying over, and became distracted by the noise. She looked up to the sky to find that it was somewhat calming.
At that point, the man decided to make his escape. He crouched and silently ran past the small werewolf.
Once Yumi had looked back down, she was back to normal. Normal to her standards, at least. She looked at her hands gleefully and dared to touch her face. She smiled with glee, no fur! She then remembered that she had a hostage. And her hostage was gone.
"Oh." She said quietly to herself. She looked around a little before exiting the concealment of the alleyway. She sat down and tried her best to remember what had happened while she had been in her other form. "Southern Quadrant..." She whispered to herself, vaugely remembering what had been happening.

On the way to the Devils Advocates, Markus picked up a few out of place noises with his amazing senses. mainly, the voice of a small girl. His curiosity took over and we went seeking for the source of the voice. He looked under parked cars, totally unsure of where the voice came from.
Damnit, if a little girl made it this far she is lucky to have survived...
He jumped up onto a roof of a building to get a better view of the area. Peering around for a while, he finally noticed a small figure in one of the alleyways.
"Better not scare her too much..." he said to himself, then he jumped down back to Phatima. "There is a small girl in the alleyway over there. Maybe we should help her..." He said to him, looking seriously concerned.

He motioned for Markus to follow, and then walked cautiously after him, slowly starting to hear the girls voice.

Markus reached the end of the alleyway where the girl was.
"Excuse me, young miss?" He called out to her. "Are you lost? This town is not very safe, do you need a guide to find your way out?"

"I'm looking for Jaden nii-sama. Do you know where he is?" Yumi asked, looking at Markus. She idn't like the look of him, he seemed like he was too tall.
"How come you're so tall?" She asked, innocently.

His eyes widen as he hears the name 'Jaden' and he kneels down, looking at the girl, smiling softly.
"It would seem we are looking for the same person. Why are you looking for him?"
Perhaps she could be useful.

"I'm tall because... I'm just tall!" He said cheerfully as he smiled down upon the girl. "Yes, i think i know where Jaden could be, but i do not think it would be wise to go and see him right this second." He thought to himself for a moment...
Where could i leave this girl while i fetch Jaden... and get him around Phatima somehow?
"What is your name, young miss?" He asked.

"Erm... I think he's my cousin, I dunno. My mummy and daddy said something about it in the letter that they gave me." Yumi replied, clutching the piece of paper in her small hands.
"My name is Yumi.." She paused for a second.
"Are you Jaden nii-sama's friends?" She asked both of them collectively.

"We were told to look for him by one of his friends, to give him a message... Do you know where he might be?"
He spoke with a soft voice, attempting to soothe the young girl.
Come on, the sooner you tell me where, the sooner I can ditch this vampire... More profit for myself. And maybe you could be put to use.

"Um.." Yumi closed her eyes tightly, trying to remember what the man earlier had said.
"The nasty man that hurt me said that he was in the southern quadrant. But I dunno where that is." She said, looking at Phatima.

"Well, we're in the northern quadrant now. If we can work out the way south, I'm sure we can get to him once we find out where in the quadrant he is. Or if we can find out his location from somewhere. Do you want to go now, or perhaps get something to eat or drink first. From what I've seen so far, this cities a big place"
He held out his hand, offering to help her to her feet.
She'd better be right about this.
