Resting room

"all right Az.'night."Ara said smiling at him.she looked over at Austin then walked over to the bar and got herself a small glass of water.she took a sip and leaned against the bar,her eyes meeting Austins a slight smile curving her lips.she was happy being back here.she liked fighting and being with her friends. she thought of why she had asked Austin to speak with her and her eyes went cold for a second then she carefully hid the emotions behind them.she set the glass down and studied her hands,"I'm going to go work on some paperwork..I need to finish getting some things done before I go to bed."she said softly moving to the door and towards the office.

[Austin]

Austin noted the emotional change and followed Ara out to the office
"I shall return..."
he called to the others; he would debrief Kunoichi when he did so

[Azrael Jiraco]

Azrael went in a different direction to his own room. He collapsed on his bed and almost instantly fell asleep.

[Austin]

A short while later
Austin returned to the resting room and sat down on the sofa next to Kunoichi
"mei-mei what happened?"
his eyes showed his concern for her; the little ninja he considered a sister

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi half smiled
"That Rino is a persistent bugger"
she sat up, wincing as her muscles complained
"I managed to steal the Gem from the incompitent lightning lady that Rino sent to do his dirty work; that was easy... then after i'd gotten away from her, Rino himself turned up and started attacking me, i dont know whether he let me go or i got away but one way or another i'm lucky to be alive"

[Austin]

Austin nodded
"either way, good job mei-mei, during the war he was the holder a very impressive body count, you've given us a better shot at stopping him now we know for sure what he's after"
he put an arm around her, he knew it wasn't that much of a consolation after the beating she'd suffered at the hands of Rino but it was the best he could offer

[Darkota]

"Well talkiing of war, what are we going to do if he starts another one, correct me if im wrong but we dont really have enough people to be able to fight a war with, do we?" asked darkota

[Austin]

"I'm not going to let it get to that, I'll die before I let him re-open that hell gate, I saw what happened last time, it wasn't pretty"
Austin replied before turning back to Kunoichi
"go get some rest mei-mei, you look like you need it, if all hell breaks loose we'll call you"
he smiled, relief showing in his eyes at her survival

[Darkota]

"Well you can count on me giving my life to stop that gate from being reopened if i need to and if i do need to im gonna make sure i take as many of the bloody demons with me as possible" growled darkota with a hint of vengence in his eyes

[Austin]

Austin smiled and patted Darkota on the shoulder
"you know, i think it's about time i gave you your full commission; you got thrown in at the deep end with first the Drake thing and now the Rino thing and you seem to have swam rather than sunk"
he pulled out a badge from his pocket; a spare one that he'd picked up from the office and offered it to Darkota

[Darkota]

With a look of surprise on his face Darkota slowly took the badge that was being offered to him and looked at it with amazement and said to Austin "I dont really know what to say but thanks"

[Austin]

Austin smiled and held out a hand to shake
"Welcome to the Circle"

[Darkota]

Darkota shock Austin's hand still not believing he was finally a member of the circle and looking at the badge in his other hand as though it were not really there

[Austin]

Austin chuckled
"oh and your room key"
he handed Darkota a small key card with a room number on it

[Darkota]

"Thanks" said Darkota finally finding his voice and taking the key that Austin was handing him "What room number am i? he added looking at the card
