[Kunoichi]

"it's painful; he doesn't play fair"
she winced slightly
"he's also willing to use just about anything to win; he damn near hit me with an oil truck"
she considered again
"oh, and he has an ultimate form, i know it's rather hollywood but in this case life really is stranger than fighting; damn giant wolf thing is impervious to arrows"

[Jaden Kalen]

"Ultimate form..." Jaden sighed, "Vampires, were-wolfs, demons and now demons in Ultimate forms... What next?" Jaden asked. He shook his head and was silent for a moment. "Well I saw Alucard unload one of his best clips of bullets into him and that did nothing. You know the ones I mean silver holy water an all that... and that did nothing" Jaden sighed once again, "The only thing that can kill him is that sword thing and he wants that Gem for some reason. Lucky for us we have it here safe and sound where he can't get it. At least theirs hope” Jaden paused looking at Kunoichi for a second “Not the girl but hope in general" He added smiling at her.

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi chuckled
"I gathered your meaning"
she considered
"I really hope that Austin has a plan for taking this sword off of Rino, we literally have one shot before he kills the lot of us"

[Jaden Kalen]

"That sounds hopeful" Jaden smiled, "How do you think this one is going to play out? We've been through a lot as a group but nothing like this. We have never had a hell on earth situation the only one of us that has is Austin. Jaden paused and sighed, "What do you think is going to happen?"

[Kunoichi]

"I couldn't say how this is going to happen but there are only two possible outcomes; existance and extinction; If we manage to take the sword off of Rino, stab him with it and then, should he have opened the gateway, close it; we live. If we fail, existence is cancelled"
she sighed
"the cards have been dealt, the bets have been made and now it's down to us to play as best we can"

[Jaden Kalen]

"I hate it when it's like this" Jaden paused and looked Kunoichi in the eyes, "When we are just sat here not doing anything. When we are out and about doing our jobs and fighting for our lives everything seems simpler. We have to make it up as we go... Now we are just sat here waiting." Jaden fell silent still looking Kunoichi in the eyes. Suddenly he turned away and sighed looking as if far off into the distance.

"The calm before the storm..." He uttered under his breath.

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi patted Jaden on the shoulder
"Indeed it is, however i have a suspicion that it wont be too long before the storm breaks; storms dont like to keep people waiting longer than they have to"
she sighed

[Jaden Kalen]

Jaden sighed again, he turned back to Kunoichi. "It's strange but I wish this storm would break soon. I know it could be bad... No it WILL be bad, but I want this storm to break now... It's all this waiting. I can't stand it!" Jaden smiled at her. "You know me I like to be out and about doing my job. I would go out on patrol but if this storm is going to break soon I... We all have to be ready"

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi smiled slightly
"I have no doubt that it will and when it does we'll be ready, I've never known Austin to not have a plan; we just have to play the waiting game, as frustrating as it is, though i certainly look forward to fighting alongside the others again"
she absent mindedly twirled one of her kunai around her finger; something she quite often did when she was thinking

[Jaden Kalen]

"What are you thinking about?" Jaden asked watching her twirling one of her kunai around her fingers.

[Kunoichi]

"I'm trying to work out what Austin's game plan is going to be"
she replied, still absent mindedly twirling the Kunai in increasingly complex patterns

[Jaden Kalen]

"Well you know Austin better than I so if anyone can work it out it's you" Jaden said to her while watching her spine her Kunai.

"When Austin gets back I have to ask him for my other Dagger he still has it from when we went to the HQ" He said Kunoichi's Kunai reminding him of his grandfather's knife.

[Kunoichi]

"even knowing him as well as i do, it isn't that easy"
she chuckled softly as she continued to twirl her Kunai
"he'll be back soon, and we'll find out his plan then i suspect"
she smiled, slight nerves showing in her face, the waiting was getting to her too but she refused to admit it

[Jaden Kalen]

"Well he's not going to find us up here is he" Jaden smiled, "I think it's about time we got down and we can see if Azrael's found him yet" Jaden pulled himself up and jumped catching the rope he had used to climb up on and slid down to the floor. "Come on" Jaden called to her.

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi laughed softly and flipped off of the rafter, she landed lightly on one half of a nearby set of parallel bars and did a triple handspring to land by the door
"come on then"
she called to Jaden, giggling softly
