As she entered the Eastern part of the town, Damaris fingered the blade of her falchion. I don't like this.....It's too quiet. No town should be this quiet. Where is everyone? Then, turning to her right, she noticed a huge skyscraper looming out of the darkness. On a strip of fabric overhanging the foyer were the words "Devils Advocates Law Firm". Law firm, eh? Damaris stood before the foyer for a while, eyeing the building with a mix of awe and suspicion. Then, she carefully concealed her weapons beneath her long coat, making sure they were within easy reach, and pushed to door open.

((continued from DA thread, cuz I didn't see a point posting in there anymore))
Damaris slid her hand into her coat pocket. Sure enough, there was a small piece of card in there. Austin Darkora, The Circle.... and an address... I guess thats where I'll have to go. Replacing the card in her pocket, Damaris touched her wounded leg gingerly. Damns... I'm going to need a tourniquet or something on that.... She slid one arm out of her coat, and ripped the sleeve off the cotton shirt she wore. Slipping her coat back on, she ripped the sleeve into strips and tied them tightly around the wound. I hope that holds.... She stood up, placing as little weight as possible on her wounded leg. Her hands automatically moved to her waist, checking her weapons. Damn, I left my falchion in there.... She sighed No point going back for it now. Besides, I'm starving.... Glancing at the door of the DA, she sighed and limped away.

Damaris checked the card again. I need to be in the Southern part of town... I guess I should head there and see if there's any places to eat or something. Leaning heavily on her good leg and using her long bow as a crutch, she limped down the road, towards the Southern Quadrent

((Continued from the outskirts))
The coach pulled into the bus bay and the doors opened. Leo got up and descended the steps to the street. As he got up he pulled up the hood of his coat as he always did when he went outside. Behind him the dire wolf came. Leo was not surprised. He decided that to look around was the best option. The dire wolf paid Leo no attention and had already begun to wander down the street. Leo chose the other direction have nowhere else to go.
Leo made his way down the street, the coach pulled away and then it was gone. Leo was home. He remembered this street of old. His instincts took over and he found himself naturally walking towards his parent’s old house. It was in this side of town. Well it had been in this side of town. It had been demolished and now newer structures stood in its place. Leo felt something, but it was hazy and soon left. Leo walked around not knowing where to go. His feet led him, he just followed.

Leo suddenly had the mind to check out the skyscraper in the centre of town. As he got closer and closer he felt a rising evil there. He did not like it. All his hackles stood on end and he growled slightly. He quickly turned away from that place.
Leo walked at some speed away from that place. His thoughts soon turned to leaving the town, had had come home and found it just as desolate and unwelcoming as he had when he had left, all those years ago.

Leo wandered not knowing where to go. His feet lead him to all the places of old. But he still felt nothing towards the town and saw no real reason to stay. He breathed deep, he smelt freash blood on the air. But when was there not freash blood spilled in this town?
He reached into his coat pocket and held his coach ticket, he could get on another coach and continue onto somewhere else. Somewhere that was not here. There was nothing here for him.

As Nicola Smith slowed her motorbike down, she looked around her, taking in the numbers on the houses. She found the one she was looking for and turned the bike into the empty driveway, braking gently. She stopped close to the house and dismounted, kicking the stand down. She removed her helmet and tucked it under one arm, after dropping the strap from the rucksack she carried from one shoulder. With her free hand, she pulled her short hair loose from the ponytail she kept it in while wearing her helmet. She strode up to the door and knocked three times, leaning against the door frame. When nobody answered, she knocked again. Still no answer. This is stupid. I came all the way here and she's not even home... She rolled her eyes and dropped the black helmet on the floor, striding over to the nearest window. She peered inside. Nothing... looks like she hasn't been here for days... maybe weeks. She sighed, exhasperated, and began hammering on the front door again.

Leo heared she sound of the motorbike long before it was anywhere near. It went past him and pulled into the driveway of the house three doors down. He did pay much attention to the woman who drove the bike until she started hammering on the door of the house. By this time he was at the foot of the drive and the sound was quiet annoying. There was an odd smell near here, death. The place stank of it. Leo ignored it, as he walked past, best not to get involved in business that was nothing to do with him.

Nico sighed and let her head fall forward, banging the door in exhasperation. She picked up her helmet and wandered back to her bike. Sitting on it, she took in the rest of the street. It was dark... she looked at her watch, brushing her pink-streaked fringe out of her eyes. Apart from the darkness, it seemed like a normal street. She put her helmet down on the floor. When she looked up, she caught sight of a man walking past. He looked old, she guessed he was in his late 50's. Still, he might be able to get the door open. She stood up and called out to him. "Hey! Excuse me, but.. could you help me?"

Leo heard the girl call. He instinctively turned to look at her. "Yes?" He asked, he did not like the look of the girl, black leather that was too small for her, metal in her ears and a pink streak in her hair that was too long and poked her in the eyes. Leo made a snap judgment of her, young, needed help and trying to act tough.
Leo waited at the bottom of the drive to hear what the girl wanted.

Nico sighed in relief. "Thank you!" She called. "Is there any way you could maybe open the door for me?" She paused and thought, remembering she was supposed to have respect for her elders. "Please?"

Leo notied that the girl had decided he would help. He walked up the drive towards the house and with each step he took the smell of death became more pundgent. I do not like the smell of this he thought to himself. He paused by the door and waited. "It smells of death" he stated simply. Telling the girl what he smelt. He did not wish to break the door down, he knew that then the smell would get even stronger.

Nico blinked, taken back by both the bluntness of the mans words and what he had actually said. "What do you mean, it smells of...." She stopped and thought. "You're a were then?" She studied the man with interest, and guessed that her original estimation of his age was maybe just a few years off. "Wait, death?" A hint of fear crept into her voice. Have I come all this way to visit a corpse?

"It smells of death." He said simply again. Leo disliked the way this girls thoughts jumped, she was halfway though a question when she asked another. "I am a Lycan" He said simply,"and yes death" he said answering all her questions she asked in the same order she asked them.

"A lycan? Thats the technical term, is it?" She shrugged and glanced nervously towards the house. "Could you.... please, could you find a way into the house?" She looked at him pleadingly.
