Austin lay in bed with Ara in his arms, gazing at her lovingly, a moment he knew that would be etched in his mind forever; true happiness with the one he loved most of all

Adrienne gazed back at Austin,her eyes radiant with love for him,she ran her hand lightly down his arm.
she spoke softly:"I love you."she kissed him softly and then looked over at her bed side clock.they still had time to be with each other.

to him the last hour had been magical and he never wanted it to end, he wanted to lie here with her in his arms forever

Adrienne cuddled close in his arms,looking at his face as she had never seen it before.she'd seen him during all types of times,she'd never seen him as he was now."Austin..."she said softly,her head against his shoulder gently."would you do something for me?"she gazed into his eyes.

Ara gently moved out of his arms.she then got up out of bed,going over to her jewelry box and pulling a gold chain and a golden ring on it.her father's wedding band.she then knelt and said quietly:"will you take my favor Austin,through fire and flames,through both bad times and good times,forever to hold and carry as your own?"she'd given herself in formal acceptance to him now.following the ritual of the lovers' gift as her mother had taught her well.

Adrienne kissed Austin softly back,handing him the golden ring and necklace.
"call it my way of being able to tell you my heart belongs only to you."she said softly.
she stood and drew on a robe that had been lying on the back of a chair and ran her fingers through her long hair,letting it hang free for once.
