[Zackary Kalen]

"Upstairs?" Zack took a long drag of cigarette before tilting his head at Kana, "To meet your brother, right?"

He sighed, and pressed one hand to the side of his neck, arching it until he heard a faint crack. "This is way too much hassle..."

"That is correct."
He looked at Zack in disdain.
"No, hassle is having a trouble maker come into your club and cause a disturbance."

"Trouble maker?" chewing thoughfully at the end of his cigarette, Zack quirked an eyebrow at Kana, ignoring the flutter of ash that dropped from the end of the nicotine stick to the floor, "Y'mean because of that knife?"

He snorted in a genuinely amused manner, and jerked a thumb at the pile of weapons on the table,

"You count how many weapons I've got?" he asked, before continuing on regardless of an answer, "More than enough to take out a door guard without disturbing a fly. If I wanted to cause trouble, I think I'd rather make a nice flashy scene than get busted at the door."

He paused and stratched at the back of his head,

"But, I digress. My point is, I've got a lot of weapons. Do you honestly think I can remember where I store every one of those damn knives? I came in here for a drink, not to stab a few drunk vampires inbetween the eyes," he finished, flicking at the aforementioned spot on his own forehead to get the point across, before replacing the hand in his jacket pocket.

Kanas eyes dropped to the ash on the floor and back to Zack.
"I mean trouble maker in the context of 'a person who causes trouble'. And in making me come down here, you have caused trouble. Which reminds me..." Kana flickered back to where the guards were stood and picked up Zacks knives, before flickering back.
"Whether you meant to use them or not is none of my concern. Whether it was an innocent mistake or not is none of my concern. If that is the case..." he eyed Zack in distaste. "You should learn to keep better track of your weapons."
He indicated the stairs infront of him.
"Up there." He said coldly, laying his hand on Peters' shoulder again. He gave him a look of malevolant amusement and spoke to both him and Zack.
"My brother is expecting you."

Zack let out a short laugh, tilting his head at the other vampire,

"Wise advice there. 'Keep track of weapons'." He took the cigarette out of his mouth and made a jabbing motion in the vague direction of Kanas to emphasise his second point,

"But you want to be stuck up the proverbial creek without a paddle? I wouldn't wanna get rid of any of them."

He shrugged, and let the conversation drop as he focused on Peters instead. The guy who pointed a gun at his crotch. Oh well, he was gonna get chewed out anyway, may as well go down laughing. Returning the cigarette to his mouth and his hands to his pockets, he lifted his leg, placing his foot on the small of Peters' back, before exerting enough pressure on the vampire guard's lower back to send him staggering forwards.

"After you Petey."

Kana glared at Zack and crossed his arms.
"I would appreciate it if you refrained from assulting my employees."

Zack's eyebrows rose, and he narrowed his eyes with a smirk, before giving Kana a sweeping (and even so slightly mocking) bow,

"Pardon me," he said smoothly, before heading over to the where Peters was glaring daggers at him and exhaling a steady plume of smoke in his face,

"But that's hardly assault. Not to a guy who points a gun at your crotch," he said, glancing back at Kana before ascending the stairs at long last.

Kana glared at Zack again and watched his retreating back, fingering his gun.
He snarled at Peters.
"What are you waiting for?"
Still carrying Zack's knives, he shoved him roughly and followed as they ascended to Vincents study.

((They are either going to be at each others throats all the time, or have the oddest friendship ever. The former seems most likely right now though. Haha.))

((Heehee yea.... Gods, Kana has a lot of enemies. XD He hates Belle too.

Edit: Just realised its the wrong account. *slaps head* Ah well, can't be arsed to go log out and back in for an OOC post. Its when I start doing it for a character post I need to worry, methinks.))

Falling behind slightly, so he was following Kana rather than wandering aimlessly in some random (probably wrong direction), Zack allowed himself a glance at the decor and layout of the hall he was in. It was quite clear that whoever he was going to see had money. A fair amount of it.

Sighing, he wondered whether or not he should remove the cigarette, but eventually decided that, no, if he was going to come face to face with a possibly homicidal vampire lord he was going to do it smoking like a chimney.

"So, where abouts is your brother anyway?" he asked, chewing on the butt of the cigarette in a bored fashion.

Kana didn't look at Zack as he answered.
"My brother," he replied curtly, "is in there."
He indicated a door at the end of the corridor. Still keeping a hand on Peters' shoulder, he walked slowly towards it, glancing back once to make sure Zack followed. Standing outside the door, he turned to Zack.
"After you" He said with mock courtesy.

Zack smirked, sensing the mocking challenge in Kana's voice, and dropped into an equally mocking curtsey, complete with imaginary holding of a skirt,

"Why thank you, good sir," he trilled, before straightening up, shooting one deliberate smirk at Kana, and entering the room where Kana's brother was.

Vincent Looked at the door as it opened, looking to see who had entered.

Kana shot another evil look at Zacks back, saying nothing, and shoved Peters through the door before following him.
"Brother" he said, addressing Vincent with a cold courtesy.
