Kanas eyes flickered from Peters to Vincent. "Certainly... brother." He said, his voice tinted with malice again. He fetched a chair from the corner of the room and placed it near Zack. "Here." He said without looking at him. He resumed his position next to Vincents desk, watching with a cold anticipation as Vincent tortured Peters with his Russian Roulette-esque game. He watched Zack out of the corner of his eye. He hadn't flinched at all, and seemed to be ignoring Peters' screams. As Vincent pulled the trigger a second time, Kana smirked again. He knew what was coming. He kept his eyes on Zack as Peters disintegrated into a pile of ash, watching for his reaction.

Zack kept his eyes firmly on the gun, still stood - he'd rather not sit down just this second, thank you very much - in front of the chair. There was a little corner of him that thought this was all sick, twisted, and in his mind a sign of someone who was never entirely confident with their power, so they felt the need to flaunt it. Or it was just a game to see whether or not he was the kind of person who feared this sort of thing.
Luckily for him, he managed to maintain a careful apathy about the whole situation. He didn't know Peters, didn't care much in any particular way, and therefore found it quite easy to detatch himself from the situation. His eyebrow rose a little higher when Peters disintergrated, and raised his eyes from the pile of ash to meet Vincent's own stare,
"...An' I thought it was messy with just the blood. Now you've got all this ash to deal with too," he said, finally seating himself in the chair; casually resting his right foot on his left knee and propping his elbows on the arms of the chair,
"That the sort of special treatment I'm here for too then?" he asked with a small smirk. Hell, if he was...well...a least he got to smoke before he kicked the bucket.

Vincent smiled and placed the revolver back on the table with his guest other weapons. Vincent ignored his questions. He then opened a draw and took out a wooden oak box, "I see you are a smoker,” He said opening the box. He withdrew one of the contents and held it out to his guest. A cigar. One of the finest types of cigar in the world. Beautiful. The luxurious smell giving off a rich flavour. Tempting anyone to smoke it and share in its sensual pleasure. This he handed freely to his guest.

"Cigars, huh?" Zack reached out and carefully took one of the offered objects. He tilted it from side to side, examining it out of pure curiousity more than anything.
"Damn good quality cigars too," he whistled, looking impressed. He twirled the cigar idly between his fingers and fixed a level stare upon Vincent,
"I'm going to presumptuous and say that, since we've reached the stage of offering cigars, shooting me inbetween the eyes isn't on the menu." There was a pause, and he smirked, "Although I won't vouch for shooting me anywhere else."
He glanced at the cigar, before using his free hand to remove the cigarette from his mouth,
"And, as you've gathering I am, indeed, quite the smoker, would you mind if I finished this before sampling delicacies?" he asked, "Smokers hate waste..."

"Smoke it at your leasure" Vincent replied, sitting back in his chair. "So what do I call the man to whom these fine weapons belong too?" He asked, making friendly conversation with his guest now, he had almost forgotten the human that had tried to kill him earlier, but not quiet. He was wondering why Thorne had not called in to report yet. He put that thought from his mind. Most probably she was feeding on him. He smiled at the thought but showed no sign of it on his face.
He looked at his guest from across the table and waited for his reply.

Zack tilted his head. He liked challenges. He could play the 'nice upper-class guy' game with the best of them - he had, on a few occasions. Vincent seemed quite the challenge; a vampyre, or so he sensed, who had just tortured and shot a guard in cold blood, and now he was offering high-priced, high-quality cigars like children's sweets and making amiable conversation.
Challenge indeed.
"...Zackary Kalen," he replied, a relaxed smirk slipping onto his features - neatly deceptive too, as he was still quite wary of the vampyre. He moved slightly so he was leaning on his free hand,
"And you, am I permitted to ask for your name? Oh, and your oh-so...charming brother's," he added, giving Kana a careful glance.

"...Kalen... hmmm Kalen... where have I heard that name before?" He asked himself, leaning further back in his chair in thought. "Ah" he said leaning forward, "So you are a relation of a certain Mr Jaden Kalen one of the members of Austin Darkora's rabble. The Circle I think they call it, am I correct?" He asked almost spitting the names Jaden Kalen, Austin Darkora and The Circle. Anger rose in his with each name. But the one that was said with the most hate was Austin Darkora. He took a short breath and regained his composure.
"You may know my name already for I am known among many of my kin" He said in a very odd tone. It was plain that he was not used to comparing himself to vampires. What were they to him? Just tools used for his own gain. "I am Vincent Lémartes of the House Lémartes. And that" He pointed at his brother "Is Kana" he said the name with almost as much disgust as he had said Austins.

Zack seemed vaguely amused at the obvious hatred Vincent harboured for his cousin, and he let out a dry laugh,
"You're correct," he said, "I'm a relative of Jaden Kalen. His cousin to be more precise," he paused long enough to exhale a plume of smoke, before continuing, "But I haven't seen my cousin in a long time. I didn't even realise he was here...that's certainly interesting," he added the final bit more as an afterthought to himself than anything. So, Jaden was a member of 'The Circle', hm?
"...Lémartes, hm? Yes, I do believe I've heard that name in passing. Forgive me, but I've been out of the vampire 'scene' for a while now," he explained, tapping his finger on the armrest of the chair idly.

Kana scowled at his brothers comment, but said nothing. He'd learnt from the slap he'd been given earlier. Instead, he flickered to the other side of the room and seated himself in one of the other chairs. He crossed his arms and sat back, watching the exchange with contempt.

Vincent looked at his brother with dissapointment. He then brought his attention back to Zack. He noticed the sound of interest in Zacks voice about The Circle and decided he would do something about it. People generally believe what they are first told about something. He hoped this would be true of Zack, "Yes The Circle, a lot of radicals who believe they can police the streets and do what ever they like. Concerning themselves in everyones business wheather it belongs to them or not. A rabble of terrorists if you ask me. Selling protection to people at a high price and then not helping. That is The Circle" He paused for a moment.
"Zackary you came to my club, I assume you require a drink?" He said offering him a drink of whatever he wanted.

Zack tilted his head at the vampyre's description of the Circle, before shrugging lightly,
"Whatever my cousin wants to do is up to him," he said, waving one hand in a dismissive fashion, "It's none of my business." His finger brushed across the cigar in his pocket as he mulled this information over. The Circle would be interesting to look into. He had no intention of joining anything simply because Jaden was a member of it, but he was interested in seeing his cousin again, and it seemed like finding this 'Circle', even if just passing them on the street, would be the best way to go about it.
At the mention of a drink, however, he narrowed his attention back on the conversation at hand,
"Liquor was at the forefront of my mind, I'll admit that," he said, exhaling cigarette smoke as he spoke, eyes flicking across each bottle of alcohol offered, "...Buuuuut...now you've got me curious as to why I was called here," he said, tone falling to serious, "I expected some threats, shouting, maybe being tossed out my ass." He said with a light smirk, one that spoke merely of the curiousity he'd previously mentioned. He preferred people to be blunt and just tell him their motives, rather than dance around the subject. He'd never been much of a dancer himself, afterall.

Vincent smiled and leaned back in his chair. "You do not know the reason you were brought here? Well the simple answer to that is you tried to get into my club armed. Isn't that obvious? One of the main rules here is that only my staff are allowed to carry arms. Then you walk in and don't hand over all your weapons. That says one thing to me, you consider yourself staff. It just so happens that I have four positions open in my company. Although you might not be able to fill three I believe that the fourth would suit you perfectly, considering you were responsible for the death of the man who's job it used to be" Vincent said pointing to the pile of ash and pool of blood on the floor.
He stopped for a second and refilled his glass of whiskey. This he then proceeded to drink and slowly place it back on the table. The room was deathly silent. He waited for Zacks response after this had sunk in, a sinister smile on his face of triumph.

"...So," Zack plucked his cigarette out of his mouth and rolled it between his fingers idly, "You've called me up here to offer me a job? Or is offer not quite the word I should use?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Explaining that the hidden knife had been hiding from everyone, including himself, wouldn't make a whole lot of difference at this point, he figured. Replacing the cigarette he chewed on the end thoughtfully, before frowning,
"Although I suppose I should ask exactly what this job would entail," he commented finally, meeting Vincent's triumphant gaze with a level, unwavering stare.

"You are correct in that assumption" Vincent said to Zacks first question.
"This job, is to work for me and do what I say when I say it. I am binding you to my house and to me. I think that you may do a better job of it than our dear departed friend there" He said once again pointing at Peters's ashes.

Zack's eye flickered to the ashes on the ground, before looking back up and tilting his head at the vampyre,
"I'm assuming this is more of an order than a request?" he replied, tapping his finger on the arm of the chair. The idea of being bound to anything didn't sit all that well with him, but he was new here and he needed somewhere to stay, and someway of living. There was a niggling feeling in the back of his mind that he wouldn't find out what his job would entail until he agreed to it, but it was a worth a try asking,
"So," he laced his fingers together, keeping his elbows perched on the armrests of the chair, "...What was it that dear ol' Petey did here?"
