The phone on Vincent's desk began to ring...

Vincent looked at the phone and saw Thorne's name written in small red letters. "Excuse me a moment" he said to Zack leaving his question unanswered. "Please Brother, take my new employee down to the bar for a drink. I shall call for you soon" with that he had dismissed them.
He waited for them to leave. Before picking up the phone. "Yes Thorne?" Was all he said, he waited for her report.
((Considering neither Zack nor Kana are online, we shall talk as if they have already left and they can post themselves leaving and going to the bar later. This will also make mine and Thornes conversation less confusing to follow))

"The trail has gone dead, the humie went to the hospital and there are just too many blood trails for me to track him" Came Belle's voice over the telephone

Vincent listen, anger showing on his face. Although Thorne could not see it. "Thorne, he is one human you are my specially trained employee for such tasks as find and destroy yet you cannot find and kill this one pitiful human?"

Belle sighed "Vincent, there are just too many trails, not even a very gifted Werewolf could track just one through a thousand" she replied, her voice apologetic though strained; she herself was angry but trying not to show it

"Thorne it is lucky for you that you are needed back here." He paused, as if deciding something. "I have a new job for you" He hung up the phone, not waiting to hear her reply. As long as the human remains in this city my eyes and ears are never to far away, I shall find him again and soon!

Kana watched his brother as he picked up his phone. Probably that wretched woman reporting on the pathetic human He thought, keeping his mind guarded from his brother and Zack. He stood up. "Certainly. Brother." He replied, almost spitting the last word. He looked towards Zack, distaste showing plainly on his face, and walked slowly to him. He stopped a few inches from him, and scowled at him. "Shall we?" He asked, mockingly. Without waiting for an answer, he strode past Zack and towards the door.

((Sorry this is...um...slightly late? Ha...ha...UCAS is killing me.))
Zack's eyes fell to the phone, before tilting his head as Vincent dismissed them. This was obviously something on the inside of Vincent's little operations. Whatever they were. Ah well, wasn't his place to pry into the situation.
At Kana's poorly concealed mockery and distaste, Zack couldn't help but smirk in amusement. Vincent's brother was certainly fun to toy with.
"What, y'not gonna play gentleman and offer me a hand or something?" he answering, smirk transforming into a grin he didn't even bother to supress, before he stood up, stuffed his hands in his pockets and followed the other male out of the room.

Vincent turned his chair and faced the monitors. He watched them all. Guest entered. Most pouring into the main club. None yet sat in the upstairs rooms. He sipped at his whiskey watching everyone who entered. He looked over at the stain of blood and ash on the floor that used to be Peters. Then he leaned over and pressed a button on the intercom. "Housekeeping" was all he said. Moments later there was a timid knock on the door "Enter" Vincent announced. A woman with a vacuum cleaner came in.
"...S..s...s...sir?" she stuttered. She was visibly shaking.
Vincent just pointed to the stain of Peters. The maid looked to where he pointed. She gasped, quickly looked down and got on with her work. She vacuumed the floor then mopped up the blood. She didn’t seem happy but tried not to show it in front of Vincent. She glanced up a Vincent before leaving. He just waved his hand dismissing her. She left quickly not looking back.
Vincent remained sat watching the monitors.

Kana looked behind him once to make sure Zack followed him as he left Vincent’s office. He entered the main bar of the club, ignoring the antechambers and smaller bars in the building. Striding towards the bar, he glanced at the bartender. “Wine. Red. And…” He turned to Zack, gestured expectantly with one hand.

Zack let his eyes dart around the club as he followed Kana. He couldn't help but focus on the smaller antechambers off to the side - part of him assumed them to be part of the club, extra rooms or something, but considering the kind of people that ran this place, he felt he had enough evidence to be a little intrigued. Or suspicious. He couldn't quite figure out which.
"Hm?" he answered, when Kana made an expectant motion in his direction. Snapping back into the present, he frowned slightly as he racked his brain for something alcoholic enough to dull the sharp headache he was pretty sure he'd have by the end of the night. (Of course, it would only be twice as bad in the morning...but that was the morning. Not the now.)
"...Either a whiskey - Moonshine if that's the case, or a shot. Vokda or tequila, I don't care," he told the barkeeper, rubbing at the back of his head, "Whichever'll get past my tolerance level quickest," he added as an afterthought. He preferred surprise drinks. Let the barkeepers think for themselves, give them a little excitement and whatnot.

Kana nodded at the barman, his face blank. The barman left and fetched Kana's wine and a small glass of something for Zack. He placed them on the bar and, after Kana glared at him, left again, staying towards the other end of the room. Kana took his drink from the bar and made a show of swirling it in the glass and tasting it before he drank. He turned to Zack. "My brother appears to like you." There was no emotion in his words, but his eyes flashed angrily for just a second.

Zack nodded appreciatively at the barman as he set down a whiskey on the bar, curling one hand around the glass. Taking a satisfied gulp of the drink, with all the air of a man who really, really needed alcohol. Setting the glass back on the table, he watched as the icecubes cinked together, before glancing at Kana out of the corner of his eye when the other man spoke to him.
"That's like? Seemed more like careful manipulation to me," he said looking honestly surprised for a split second, "I've seen that sort of thing before. Your brother definitely knows how to get something that'll be of use to him. Although how much use I am, I have no clue."
Zack leant against the bar, silent for a few moments, before he spoke up again,
"I sense there's no love lost between you and your brother," he said seriously, "...So I guess you wouldn't be the best person to ask about what kind of man he is."

Kana let out a short barking laugh. "He hasn't killed you. That..." he sipped his wine. "Is as close as my brother comes to 'liking' most people." He said bitterly, drinking again, deeper. "And you're correct there. There is no doubt that my brother knows how to get what he wants. As for what kind of man my brother is...." Kana drained his glass and placed it back on the bar, before turning back to Zack. "Did Peters teach you nothing? He will be civil to you while you are useful. He may even appear... kind." Kana's face darkened at the last word. "But have no doubt that when you cease to be useful, he will have you disposed of as he did Peters." Kana smirked at the memory of what had taken place in Vincents office. "However, you have nothing to fear from my brother, for the moment." He gestured to the barman, who came to where they were stood. "Another?" He asked Zack.

Waving a hand, Zack let out a low laugh,
"I'm in the good books until he puts a bullet through my skull? Well that's comforting to know. " he said, vague sarcasm laced in his voice. His eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at the slow-melting ice cubes in his drink,
"Dangerous, aren't they? The manipulative sorts." He ran his fingertip around the rim of his glass, creating a faint yet inconsistant ringing sound. Finally he tapped his finger against the rim and grinned, "Not the kind you can really let your guard down. But it's a damn good skill to have, I'll give your brother that," he added, before nodding at the offer of another drink.
