Eleri laughed. Sometimes she missed having younger brothers.
"Well that should hold him for a while..." She said. She turned to Hadrian. "So.. whisky?" She asked him simply.

Hadrian bit his lip, he wasn't really one for whiskey, neither was mum, Fae was the only one who liked the stuff, Fae and grandpa and grandpa was constantly in....
"Drawing room." He announced beginning to walk off before pausing, "Why the hell do we even have a drawing room?" He pondered out loud.
"Came with the house." Elizabeth stated, "This one had better security than the others so I paid for the extra space for the security. Not that it worked." She grumbled as she gently ran her hands across Wright's chest, being very careful because if that was bruised then it would hurt like a mother fuc- ahem, something rather unpleasant.
Hadrian shrugged and left the room while Luciana went into the kitchen and gathered up a dustpan and brush to begin cleaning up the living room. "U-um. I've never heard of the Edgehaven Police Department before... are you new here?" The shy young woman asked timidly as she began to pick up the larger pieces of shattered china, glass and wood.

Wright instantly brightened at this. Firstly, the silver handcuffs (he'd thought of those before, as useful tools, but had never been able to afford them) had sorted out the werewolf (and must have stung like hell), but more importantly, secondly, whiskey!
He didn't really care where the silver handcuffs had come from. He was a copper and had been for over two decades, after that long, handcuff jokes wore thin.
"That sounds like an idea!" Wright smiled. "Whiskey! I haven't had a drink in forever! Or, well, about ten minutes." He paused. "Those two are similar."

"Thank you." Eleri called after Hadrian.
"Don't get too excited." She told Wright. "It's only a little bit, for the pain."
"I am." She said to Luciana softly, stooping to help her pick up the glass. "The Captain's been around a while, but we're undergoing a... revamp." She said, smiling at her own terrible pun.
"You might want to take that off." She called to Elizabeth, indicating Wright's tattered shirt. "Ignore him if he kicks up a fuss, he'll be fine."

Elizabeth grinned somewhat like a shark, "Only known him for ten minutes and already people want me to rip his shirt off." She lamented, her daughter turning a bright shade of scarlet, "Oh well. Who am I to disappoint?" She asked in a decidedly put upon fashion before grinning positively viciously as she looked at Wright.
Luciana smiled, still a bit flustered from her mother's words, "Thank you. It must be exciting to be a police officer." She commented as Eleri began to help her.
"WHISKEY!!" Hadrian shouted as he appeared back in the room, three bottles clutched against his body in one arm and two bottles in his outstretched hand. "I brought enough for everyone." He admitted with a grin as he set them down on the coffee table before catching a look at his mother and blanching at her grin.

Wright, despite being (now shirtless), and far too battered to stand, somehow sprang to his feet, made it to the coffee table, took an entire bottle, and just started drinking it.
"What?" He asked. "Hey, I don't get the good quality stuff very often, you know?" He seemed to notice finally that he was shirtless, and looked down at the billions of little cuts and bruises covering his body (not to mention about fifty scars from other fights across his life). He looked back, and considered putting the remaining pieces of his shirt back on. He thought better of it.
At least his police vest was still in one piece. It'd take more than a werewolf to tear that apart. It'd been with him for too long. Seen too much. It was in a heap on the floor, and he picked it up, and wincing in pain, put it back on.
"Well, what are you all waiting for?" He asked, drinking from a whiskey bottle, stood shirtless, in only a police vest, bleeding from almost every pore. "You wanted us to do our job, Corporal Mortymer, so, let's do it. We've gotta get this guy back to our cells."
He paused, finally registering the pain he was in from standing up.
"Also, I might pass out." He added. "Just a heads up."

Elizabeth sighed with a small snort of amusement as she placed a hand on Wright's shoulder to push him back into a sitting position, "Sit down before you fall down. I'm not finished with you yet." She declared grabbing one of the bottles from the table, "Sit still and I'll let you have another bottle and then Hadrian can drag your perp back to the station. Deal?"
Her son spluttered indignantly, "Wah!?"

"Oh, it has its moments." Eleri replied to the girl. "Like now, for example." She smiled.
She Looked at Wright as he got up. "Well if you can jump around the place for whisky, you can walk back to the station." She told him pointedly.
She grinned at Elizabeth. It was almost like having two of her around the place.
"I'd drink that slowly." She suggested to Wright from the floor. "You're not getting any more of that."
She laughed softly at Hadrians reaction, and then said seriously "It would be a great help. I'll have my hands full with the captain, unless you want to carry him instead? I don't think I can manage both." She asked.
She looked about the room and spotted the silver candlestick Wright had used to batter the werewolf with. "Can we borrow this?" She asked Elizabeth, picking it up in her free hand.
The smell of the captain's blood kept invading her consciousness like a... well, a bad smell. Her teeth itched. The sooner we get you back and stitched up, the better She thought to herself.
It wasn't so much that she was worried about biting him, it was more just an ill feeling, something akin to what she imagined a bad drug trip to be like - there was something in her, some fundamental value, that would not let her bite her captain, bloodlust or not.

Wright gave Hurricane Eleri another helpless look, then realised she was helping him escape, and turned to Elizabeth. "Well, sorry, but, she's the boss." He said with a slight smile. Then he paused. "No, hang on, I'm the boss. But, I'm the boss and I said she's the boss and what I say goes because I'm the boss so..."
He decided to abandon that sentence while he had a chance.
"...I mean, I'd love to stay, but...urm, there's all kinds of paperwork about the arrest I'll have to do, phone calls to make, you know how it is...." He glanced at Eleri, trying to give her a Look to stop sniggering. Sadly, this was Wright we're talking about, so the Look was far out of his abilities...

Eleri held back a smile.
"As the captain said, lots of paperwork and such to be getting on with." She said to Elizabeth, dumping the handfull of broken glass in a nearby bin. "Before we go, though, do you have any spare medical supplies we can take? Just bandages, antiseptic.. basics, really. We're running low at the station."
In truth, Eleri suspected they didn't have any medical supplies, or that they were buried at the back of a cupboard somewhere under a pile of paper. She almost suggested staying until Wright was patched up, but she could sense his discomfort (not least from his attempt at a Look), and figured it would be best to get him back into a more familiar place.

"What? We're fine!" Wright protested. "We've got a whole packet of plasters I bought just last year!" What more did she want!? They were a police station, not a hospital! Sheesh. Some people...
He managed to stand up, and groaned a little, but succesfully held himself from collapsing.
"Yep. Back to the station. Hard work, being captain. Lots of responsibility and...work." He wasn't exactly very convincing. At least to someone like Eleri who knew all he actually did was sat around and drank.
But hey, those bottles weren't gonna drink themselves!

Elizabeth shook her head and ignored everything Wright said, a sly smirk curling at the corners of her mouth, "We have the first aid box, will that be enough Miss Mortymer? Aside from a couple of paracetamol and ant-acids that's all we've got." She explained wetting a small cotton wool strip with whiskey from her own bottle and moving to take hold of Wright's chin to clean up at still oozing cuts from his close encounter with claws, flying glass and china.
Luciana was eyeing Eleri in concern before she swiftly retreated to one of the tables and returned with a swimming nose clip in her hand, "H-here. You looked like the s-smell was bothering you." She offered quietly.
Hadrian meanwhile was grumbling as he stamped into a pair of worn black trainers and a jacket, it may be only lunch time but it was still cold in the darkness.

"Thank you." Said Eleri to Luciana, taking the clip. "That's very helpful." She attached the clip to her nose. She had to breath through her mouth now, but at least her teeth would stop itching.
"I'm sure we are, sir, but I'd rather be safe than sorry if it's all the same to you." She told Wright. She stepped forward to take the first aid box from Elizabeth.
"Thank you, that would be perfect." She said, tucking it and the candle stick she still held under one arm. "You've been very helpful. I'll make sure everything gets back to you in one piece." She looked at Hadrian and smiled. "Including your son."
She stepped to stand next to Wright and slipped an arm around his waist carefully, supporting his weight.
"No protesting, you'll likely fall over if you try walking back on your own." She told him sternly before he could object.
She indicated his chest. She could see a large purple bruise forming over a large part of it. It didn't look good.
"Besides, that bruise looks nasty, you're still bleeding and you can do without damaging yourself even more." She shifted his weight slightly - being a (mostly) human crutch to someone several inches taller than her was always uncomfortable.
"Ready?" She asked Hadrian. "Don't worry about him, like I said, he's no bother while he's out." She said, indicating the werewolf with a shake of her head. "If he gets too heavy let me know and we'll switch."
She looked at Elizabeth and Luciana again.
"Thank you for all your help." She said again.

Elizabeth smiled sunnily as she smoothed her skirt out, "Anytime you feel like destroying the living room to save us from werewolves feel free. Just tell me ahead of time and I'll make some food." She joked with a grin as she gave the pair a small bow of her head in thanks.
Luciana nibbled on her thumb nail but otherwise smiled shyly at the pair, "You can keep the nose clip." She told Eleri quietly, "You'll p-probably need it more than me anyway." She added, trying to be a little more optimistic as she smiled hesitantly.
Hadrian rolled his eyes and hefted the unconscious werewolf up over his shoulder in a classic Fireman's lift - only positioning him a little carefully, he had no intention of getting a crotch load of werewolf powered foot when tall dark and gruesome woke up and had a tantrum. "I'll be back later, Luci, could you grab my gun? Its in the top draw of the desk over there." He nodded to the large elegant mahogany thing covered with electronics and papers and files, where he did the majority of his tinkering.
The blonde nodded and retrieved the weapon, double checking that the safety was on and it was fully loaded before slipping it into her twin's back pocket and pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Come h-home safe Ri." She requested as she stepped back.
Hadrian rolled his eyes and grinned at her, "You worry too much Luci." He told her, she bit her lip and gave him a Look - not one as affective as Eleri's or their mother's but one that managed to make Hadrian feel like an absolute cad none the less. He grumbled slightly in embarrissment as he shifted his weight. "Can we get going already? There's 160 pounds of mongrel slung over my shoulder and he's not going to be happy when he wakes up." He reminded them all, an unhappy frown on his features.

Wright frowned at the gun. Despite being a copper in a town overrun by monsters, he very rarely carried one. He had been taught, back in the old days by his Sergeant, the simple fact that guns cause more than they solve. And it was true. An unarmed copper had more chance of resolving a situation without the end result being messy than an armed one. As soon as you started waving guns around, especially in a city as heavily armed as this one, shooting would start, and people would die.
"No firing that, got it?" He ordered Hadrian with a sudden authority, apparently evoking the spirit of his long dead sergeant. "If it wakes up, I'll deal with it." He told Eleri and Hadrian together, despite the fact in his current state he probably couldn't deal with a particularly angry puppy.
He had to admit, however, he was a little impressed by Hadrian's ability to lift the werewolf. He hadn't expected that from a spoilt brat like him.
Wright turned to face Elizabeth, and immediately shifted his weight to back away. His chin was still stinging from the whiskey, and he certainly didn't want her to do that any more. Plus, he really didn't know how to deal with her.
"Well, urm, thank you...for the assistance." It was clear he was trying to sound professional, and failing utterly. "Urm...goodbye." It was blunt and to the point and showed he had no idea what to say or do.
Still, they managed to leave, at least. "Right. Anybody got a genius idea to hold that thing?" Wright asked the other two. Usually he'd be quite capable of thinking of something, but he felt like his brain had fallen out during the fight and was still on Hadrian's carpet somewhere.
