"Not really, sir. Threaten it with silver, I suppose." Replied Eleri as she led the way out of the front door clumsily, trying not to drop the first aid box.
"It should be ok with the silver handcuffs on for now. I was hoping that would be enough until we can get it into... somewhere more equipt to hold lycans."

Hadrian hefted the were on his shoulder and followed after the two, rolling his eyes as he heard his mother giggling about something or other.
"Could always silver-plate the bars, can't bend 'em if their hands burn the second they touch 'em. Or just line one of the cells with silver chickencoop wire." He paused humming thoughtfully as he manouvered himself and his prisoner out through the door, "Or you could electrify them. I wonder how many volts a Vampire could take before combusting? Hmmmm..... The influx of electricity would screw up their motorfunctions either way, give them one hell of a headache too so unless they're particularly dim they won't be grabbing onto the cell bars that much, unless they want like the afro-tastic look." He mused absently as he followed behind the two.

As the trio wondered out of the house, and onto the street, Wright gave Hadrian's suggestions some thought. Some more than others.
"No electricity." He stated firmly. "My bill would go through the roof..." He muttered, not wanting to think about how much that could end up costing him.
"Thought of the silver bars before. The chicken wire's a new one though. Like that, it's clever." Wright conceeded, giving up his attempted act of 'I'm the Captain and therefore superior' (it wasn't an act he was any good at, anyway). "But, well, silver costs money..."
"What we need, is UV light bulbs. And some way that they only turn on if the doors are opened without being unlocked first. That'd deal with vamps..." He said thoughtfully. "And then silver bars to stop the damn werewolves." He added.
"And while we're at it, Santa, I'd like a pony and a spacerocket and a furby and a tamagotchi and a go kart..." He trailed off into the world's ultimate Christmas list. Apparently, he wasn't too optimistic...
Shocking, huh?
((Should probably continue this back in the police house thread... although I suppose it doesn't matter too much)).

((I'll continue it in there in a second then))
"Actually, the silver doesn't really hurt lycans just from the touch. It's deadly if it gets into their bloodstreams though." Said Eleri thougtfully. "I agree about the electricity though, it's not a good idea."
She kept quiet about the UV bulbs. She'd never been exposed to filtered UV light, and she didn't know what effect it would have, although going on her aversion to sunlight, Eleri guessed it wouldn't be good.
Instead, she settled on giving Wright an Almost Look out of the corner of her eye as they neared the station. It was turning out to be an eventful first day.

((Well, time to move here I guess))
Wright spotted Elizabeth outside in the street, barking orders, and took command heroically, retreating to the back of the group, hiding the best he could, and proding Hadrian lightly.
"Urr, you go talk to her." He told him, keeping hidden.
"Urr, I mean, from a strategical point of view, that's the best course of action."

Hadrian gave him a look and snorted, "Wuss." He muttered under his breath as he made his way over to his mother.
"Maa!!" He called, climbing up the pile of debries she was currently stood on.

Eleri followed Wright and Hadrian towards the Beaumont house, or what was left of it. She gave the Captain an occasional worried glance - there was no way he should be able to walk on a broken leg like that without screaming in agony. She shrugged it off as the amount of alcohol in his system numbing his pain or something.
She smiled at Elizabeth and waved.

Wright shyly stepped out from behind his hiding place and gave a cautious wave.
Truth be told, he could barely stand, but sheer force of will power (well, that and industrial strength pain killers from the hospital, combined with alcohol) had led to him managing it. It also meant he could buckle at any moment and have a convinient excuse to leave, which was the main reason he was hanging on for now.
No good to collapse now when collapsing later would give him the perfect excuse to flee Elizabeth.
Although he wasn't convinced his leg was broken. Somehow, he figured you couldn't stand on it at all if that was a case. He also really hoped it wasn't because Wright didn't do long recoveries. He usually got beaten up too fast again to have recovered from the first time...

((Alright, I hope no one minds if I use Hadrian in Elizabeth's posts, it would be incredibly awkward to keep switching through accounts and make LAG the likes of which never seen before in Edgehaven. X3))
Elizabeth was lucky. She and Luciana had been moving their broken furnature into the basement when the Demon practically strutted through the streets, causing all manner of chaos, their area wasn't too damaged but a number of houses had been destroyed.
As probably the only person who kept her head about her, she eventually found herself stood on top of the highest point barking orders at those around her, since her house was still standing she had agreed to take in a few of her neighbours until the rebuilding process could be sorted out - or until they decided that Edgehaven was just too dangerous and moved away. Right now she was ordering people into shifting debries from the roads so that Emergancy Services from Bellephron could get through - though if they actually showed up would be a miracle but there was always the very, very small chance of it as after the Demon invasion all the usual local nasties would be lying low and licking their own wounds. It was fairly safe to say that Edgehaven had exploded into activity and chaos, like an Ant Hill that's been kicked over by some spiteful child.
The normally up together looking brunette was looking quite the worse for ware, not as badly as a certain police captain she could now see over the head of her approaching son but compared to her son and Miss Eleri she still wasn't doing so well. Covered in brick dust, dirt, other people's blood and with her arm in a make-shift sling and wrapped in torn bedsheets for a temporary bandage she could only give her son a one warmed hug and kiss on the forehead.
"Are you alright Sweetie?" She asked quietly, brushing dirty hair from her son's face.
"I'm fine Ma, Miss Eleri took good care of me." He admitted perhaps in a little embarrassment as he was very careful not to jostle her arm, "Where's Luci?" He asked, voice coloured with concern for his twin.
"Over at the house, she's set up a make-shift hospital with the help of Mrs Watts nextdoor." She explained, as her son nodded, all the lines of tension bleeding out of his body.
"Right. We blew up the Police station. Think you can rebuild it?" He asked abruptly.
Elizabeth paused thoughtfully, "I'll have to talk it over with the captain. Off you go, make sure your sister isn't having any difficulties." She told him, ushering him off towards the house. The brunet nodded and waved to his Captain and co-worker before jogging off down the street towards his house without a backwards glance, he needed to make sure his sister was alright, gods above he was never going to be mean to her again.
Sighing heavily, the 43-year-old awkwardly made her way down the pile of debries she was stood on, her good arm out-stretched to prevent herself from falling.
"Hell of an evening." She greeted the two, her voice grey with exhaustion, "I hear you had to blow up the police station, I'm sorry to hear that Captain."

"Urr, a-all in the line of work, M-Mrs Beaumont." Wright managed to get out, looking around to try and work out where Eleri and Hadrian were and why they weren't helping him out.
He was also slightly offended that Hadrian hadn't mentioned he'd been taking care of him too. Why did Eleri get all the credit? Just because she organised everything and took charge when he MIGHT have got himself knocked unconcious because he tried to ride on top of a demon didn't mean-
Oh, right. So that was why.
"You seem to have, urr, taken some knocks there. Maybe you should get to a hospital?" He suggested, completeing chickening out of the entire conversation about funding.

"Hell of an evening indeed." Eleri replied with a smile as she walked up behind the captain.
She gave Wright a Look that said in no uncertain terms that he was a coward, and then turned back to Elizabeth.
"We did, I'm afraid. It was that or let a giant demon run riot around Edgehaven. But before we explain about the demon, the station, the explosion and why the Captain is trying not to limp, can I suggest we sit down somewhere? As you can see, the Captain is quite badly injured and I'd bet you're not much better yourself."
She felt a little weird about ordering around a woman twelve years older than her (ok, so Wright was about the same age as Elizabeth, but he didn't count. He needed ordering about), but for yet another time that night, Eleri felt like she had to be the one to take charge. And, not that she'd admit it, but she could do with a nice sit down after the night she'd had, and a cup of tea if it was going.

Elizabeth nodded with a weary smile, "A nice sit down and a cup of tea sounds heavenly right about now. C'mon, Luciana has set up a temporary medical bay in the living room, I'm sure we can get ourselves a nice up of tea and get the Captain seen to at the same time." She assured the pair as she gestured to them to follow her. "As for my own injuries, they're fine, Luciana's already seen to them and I have no doubts that the hospital is practically filled to bursting, there's no need for me to go with a minro injury. Unlike some people who shall remain unnamed but will make their way to the hospital at a later point this evening." She declared, her voice hard and disaproving as she gave Wright a Look the likes of which he had never seen and unless he wanted to again, should do as he was told, when he was told, or there would be nonsense.

Wright protested in his head. He came up with one liners and persuasive arguments and passionate speeches about how his injuries didn't matter and how they should be helping civilians.
And then all those ideas broke down under the Look and he just ended up mumbling: "umm...yesma'am..." And shuffling along behind Elizabeth like a scolded schoolboy.
"So, um..." Wright scratched behind his head in an attempt to find a conversation topic that might salvage his reputation a little bit. "M-my plan worked. To kill the demon. At least..." He eventually settled on, between nervous coughs.

She nodded, "And we're all very proud of you Captain." She said solemnly, with all the serious of a mother who was very used to making such comment as unsarcastic as possible. "You may wish to cover your nose Miss Eleri, there are quite a few injured in here and even I can smell the blood."
The brunette entered into the three floor townhouse, smiling wearily at the refugees littered around, mothers and fathers holding their children tightly in their laps while they either cried, sat in shock or slept. Making her way into the kitchen, the woman went about making a strong cup of tea and even brought out some brandy to put into the mugs, "We all need it." She stated before Eleri could make a comment, "But don't go thinking it will become a habit." This was said with a hard look at the captain. Normally she would be a lot more easy going than this but she was at the end of her tether, her arm burned and itched something furious when it wasn't throbbing screaming pain into her brain, she had a headache that felt like an angry werewolf was gnawing on it and her back was aching abominably. She wasn't as young as she used to be and she was fully aware of the fact right now. Thus prompting her unusually harsh temperment.

"You know, I read once that technically blood is odourless, and it's the iron you smell." Wright tried to put in helpfully, in an attempt to say something useful or constructive.
He sat down, instinctively took the brandy, and then looked down at it, and somehow managed to think better of it. Whether it was yielding from unspeakable onslaughts of the Look from all sides, or whether it was because he actually for the first time in his life felt responsibility.
"...The question is what we do now, with no station." He finally decided to man up and get to the point. Well, the most he could. He probably didn't have long before he passed out from pain or something, so he might as well get to the point.
