Jaden looked out of the window at the sorry excuse for a pub. By the look of it not a reputable place, cheap food, watered down beer and bad company. Ever since Rino had burned down the old pub that the circle used to frequent, they had been on the look out for a new hangout. Jaden hoped that this was not it, although he admitted to himself that he did need a drink.
It had been quiet this evening on patrol and Jaden hoped to end the night quietly, but considering the look of the establishment it seemed as if it was going to end with a fight. "I wish Kunoichi was here too..." Jaden said looking sidelong at Alucard, "Probably for a different reason, but I still wish she was here." He said smirking at Austin, after all Kunoichi was handy to have in a fight.

"Right little ray of sunshine aren't we?" Felix asked sardonically as he swept up the remains of a broken pint glass from behind Zack, "Its a wonder you haven't taken to striped hoodies and My Chemical Romance." He added with a small smirk.

"I confess shamelessly to be a cynic," Zack grinned, rolling the cigarette back and forth between his lips,
"There is nothing wrong with striped hoodies y'know, don't discriminate," he admonished with a mockingly sorrowful shake of his head, "And I'm pretty sure everyone went through a My Chemical Romance phase when they were teenagers. Mine lasted about five minutes, until I rediscovered Frank Sinatra."
He exhaled a puff of nicotine-scented smoke,
"You get one guess as to which genre of music I stuck with, and that guess doesn't even count."

Felix gave him a small wicked smirk, "I never took you for a Country Music kinda guy. Goes to show you can never tell these days." He hummed thoughtfully as he continued sweeping.

"Chinese Opera!" Dillon threw himself into the guessing as fast as he could.
"I never had a My Chemical Romance phase. Though I think I did have a romance with some chemicals, if that counts..." He added, pondering to himself. He was too old for My Chemical Romance, after all.
"When I was younger though, was really edgy, into the Magic Roundabout theme hardcore, y'know?" He explained, as if it was perfectly normal. "Man, nobody else was emotional enough to listen to it like I did..."

Zack's eyebrow twitched very slightly at Dillon and Felix's comments,
"Soulless phillistines. Both of you," he muttered, tapping ash irritably into the ashtray - that was steadily filling up with cold, flaky cigarette ash, "Frank Sinatra was a jazz singer. One of my mum's favourites. I guess it rubbed off on me."
At Dillon's mention of his past love of the Magic Roundabout theme, Zack chuckled slightly under his breath before beginning to hum the theme song to the old tv show just loud enough to be heard, but quiet enough to deny or confuse where exactly the tune was coming from.

Felix simply chuckled, of course he knew who Frank Sinatra was, his dad had a whole mess of albums of the man, far as he knew they were still all boxed up in the attic slowly gathering dust for when he sobered up and felt like attempting to coax his wife into dancing with him through the halls. Like they used to before she found out he was a Vampire.
Grabbing up the long handled dust-pan, Felix carefully swept all the glass fragments, cigarette butts, loose change and dead insects into the plastic container and brought them back to the bar. Carefully sifting through the glass to pick out the loose-change - roughly £3.56 in coins and a severely abused five pound note - he emptied the remains into the large plastic container that all their bottles and broken glass were emptied into. Next.... wednesday was collection day, Fe just hoped that the guys would actually make it as far as the pub to collect the glass before freaking out and running home with their tails between their legs. Having to lug two wheely-bins of broken glass and bottles through Edgehaven and down the motorway to Bella-whatever its call, he could never keep the name straight, was a right pain in the ass and he didn't feel like doing it again.

She looked over at Zack as it was the first time she heard him speak and he was aiming the conversation at her.
She listened to what he had to say and knew he was right. She didnt choose to be a lycan, she was born that way.
She took another deep breath and said "Yeah, i guess so." She noticed he had pulled his seat closer. This cheered her up and so she brushed away the thoughts about her past and started to think of something she thought that would grab Madoc's attention again.
"So how long have you lived in Edgehaven?" She enquired. "I've noticed you around town a couple of times." She brushed her hair away from her face and winked at Madoc in a playful way.
She also started to listen to the conversation the others had engaged in and she let out a little giggle as she heard Dillon being himself again. She thought it was cute how he innocently said something that made himself sound almost child like.
As she had now heard Zack speak and knew the way he looked at things she was puzzled as to why the others were mocking his tase in music. He seemed a wise guy and she thought jazz would suit his personality. She added to the conversation "There's nothing wrong with jazz music." She looked over to Zack with a smile as if took seek his approval for her comment. Althouth he was a vampire, and she didnt know him she had a sense of respect for him, just from the way he told her how he saw life. Its was a good way of looking at it really.

Madoc raised an eyebrow. Harmony seemed to think he'd moved his seat to be closer to her, rather than to be further from Dillon. Still, it was female attention, even if she was a lycan. Not that Madoc was prejudiced, some of his best friends at some point or another in his life had been lycans, or vampires, he just wasn't too fond of the lady-weres. Bad experiences and whatnot.
"That's good." he replied to her. He was actually glad she was ok, he wasn't good at handling upset women, whatever species they were.
He smiled slightly at her question. "All my life, honey." He said with pride, sounding rather like a bad American movie. "Edgehaven born and bred. You wanna know something about this place, ask me. Odds are, I'll know." He was showing off, it was true, but the truth was that he did know a lot about Edgehaven. He should do, in the twenty four years he'd lived there, he'd learnt a hell of a lot about the town and its history.
He was also keeping an ear on the other conversation and he grinned and shook his head at some of the things Dillon came out with. He decided not to join in though - music genre's weren't his strong point. To Madoc, there were two types of music. Stuff he liked and everything else.

((guys, do you mind slowing things down now? I myself can only post after work and it's the same for Jaden, I'd rather not find myself having to search back ten pages to find out if anyone replied to my last post))
Austin chuckled at this, catching Jaden's meaning "Okay, lets go get something to drink" he said as he drew up outside, humming quietly to himself as he put the hand break on and turned off the ignition before opening his door.

Zack dug around in his pockets and pulled a black mobile phone from one of his pockets. He fiddled around with some of the buttons for a moment, apparently checking the time before sliding the phone shut and resting it on the bar in front of him - the index finger of his right hand pressed on the top of the phone to keep it standing upright.
"Mm?" he glanced very briefly over at Harmony, before waving his freehand absentmindedly, "Of course there's nothing wrong with jazz. One of the best genres out there," he said, with a small grin, "Better than computer generated crap you get nowadays." He finished by draining the rest of his drink and giving Felix a little wave with his hand and a small smirk,
"Okay then Barkeep. What ales have you got?"

The blonde arched an eyebrow, "Let me check. We don't get many asking for that stuff." He admitted digging out a red folder from under the bar and brushing dust from it, Moe was engrossed in a conversation with one of the regulars - Dave had passed out and been moved to one of the booths in the corner where he couldn't cause trouble - meaning that asking the old man would be pointless.
Flipping through the pages he hummed softly, placing his finger on a yellowing page he chewed the side of his bottom lip before reading out the list, "We have a list of ten British Ales available: Timothy Taylor Landlord - £1.99, Waggle Dance - £1.59, Summer Lightning - £2.05, Bishops Finger - £1.95, Meantime IPA - £5.20 there's a bit more volume to the bottle so its a little more expensive, Golden Valley - £2.05, Pedigree - £1.60, St Peter's Organic Best Bitter - £1.65, Deuchars IPA - £1.69 and lastly we have London Pride at £1.65." The blonde finished listing before looking up and pushing his hair from his eyes irritably - it kept coming out of that ruddy elastic band.
"What'll it be?"

Jaden waited until the engine had stopped before he opened the car door and climbed out. He checked his weapons, maneuvering them all so they were easier to get at.
Better to be safe than sorry. Jaden thought to himself.

Alucard didn't seem to bother checking his weapons. He just went straight to the pub door, but waited outside. He felt like this place was bad news...
There's a certain air of unease around here... I'll let the others go in first. Yeah, thats a good plan.
"Come on!" He said to his partners. "I bet this place has a great house whiskey!"

Chuckling softly at Alucard's comment, Austin pushed the door open (having not checked his weapons either) and strode inside, his boots clomping in their customary manner on the floor. He didn't need to open the door to tell how many people were inside, his senses had told them that already, he knew what they were and he knew where they were and even what they were drinking - 212 years of use had sharpened his senses nearly to scalpel point, he could practically smell what day it was.
He strode purposefully towards the bar, listening to their conversation as far as key words but nothing more. Uncharacteristically he waited patiently for one of the barmen to be finished with their customers before he made his order "Whiskey, three doubles" he said, dropping a £10 note on the bar
