Madoc stifled a laugh at the Ultimate Frisbee comment from Dillon. "Gotta say though, those female Frisbee-ers...." He said, raising an eyebrow. He frowned, slightly puzzled, at Harmony when she ordered a Guiness, but shrugged. He'd been around women that liked Guiness before, although he couldn't stand the stuff. It was usually a sign they were trying to be one of the lads.
He chewed on a handful of peanuts thoughtfully, washed it down with a swig of beer and nodded a thanks to Felix, before putting in his two cents. "Yea, I'd say it was the feud." He agreed. "Used to see it all the time when I was a kid. You'd get a new vamp in class and the lycans would all back away a bit, and vice-versa. Got used to it after a while though."

Turning into the street in his Aston Martin with both Alucard and Jaden onboard (he had bought a DB6 to replace the Dodge Charger that had been blown up) Austin caught the scent of alcohol "Aha I knew there would be a bar down here" he said to Alucard with a grin that definitely did not say 'told you so'.
They had been out on patrol all evening and Austin had taken an executive decision to go and find somewhere to get a drink or three. It had been a good idea (or so he was telling himself).

"Hey, I see everything perfectly thank you!" Dillon cried in indignant outrage, only slightly ruined by the mass of peanuts in his mouth. "It's everybody else that went wierd while I stayed sane..."
"Never got this whole feud thing. I mean, nobody sympathises with the humans. It's us the both of you want to eat, y'know? We're the ones who should have issues!"

Alucard was quiet as he tilted his head to one side in order to read the name of the pub. He didn't seem too impressed with the look of it, but it had drink, that was good enough for him. "Broken Bottle..." He muttered to himself quietly as he turned to Austin. "It's a shame that Kunoichi couldn't join us... ah, nevermind. Lads night out I suppose" He ended with a smile

Felix snorted and rolled his eyes at them, "Don't talk with your mouth full Dil, there is a lady here. Werewolf or not." He admonished lightly, polishing a glass as those damnable manners his mother dragged him up with reared their well-groomed head.
He politely didn't comment on Dillon's declaration about how he should have issues.

"Well its in my blood but i try to avoid the whole fued thing." She smiled. "Its way before my time, as i'm sure its the same with you Felix. You look young enough not to remember it or be part of what our elders were involved in."
"And thank you" She replied to Felix's acknowledgment that she was a woman regardless of species.
"I don't know about you..." She turned to Felix "But i dont wanna eat him." She gave a chuckle as she glanced over to Dillon and took a sip of her Guinness.
"I try to keep to woodland creatures that noone will report missing " She gave a guilty chuckle. She did sort of feel bad about it. but it was her only way of survival really.
((is this ok? and am i right about eating creatures or wouldn't i do that? i think a little research is in order...))

((hun, the 'feud' they talk about is not something that you can be 'not into' - the feud is genetic, you can't opt out on genetics, if you read the lore, you'll see that it manifests itself as a constant awareness of where the nearest member of the opposite is, it also means that vampires and werewolves tend to be somewhat uneasy in each other's company and when alcohol is involved fights are easily started))

Felix frowned slightly in confusion, "I thought weres could live off ordinary human food but tended to need more in the way of iron and protein than the average person?" He half stated, half asked. "As for the fued, I am too young to remember, but it is a Blood fued, Vamps, blood, the whole thing gets passed down. Its pretty much genetic right now isn't it?" At least that was how he'd heard it being spoken about, he figured it didn't affect him as badly because his mother had been human but being around Chadwick still had him wanting to shimmy out of his skin and scrub it raw with lye and sandpaper.

"See! See! She thinks somebody would report me missing! She DOES care!" Dillon pointed out gleefully, practically jumping up and down in his seat and ignoring talk of a feud simply because it didn't really involve him.
"Although, y'know, people HAVE tried to eat me. It doesn't usually work out." He gave a shrug, making the two swords on his back jostle a little.
"Too stringly apparently. Hard to chew on." He added, just because he bet everybody thought he was being cocky and talking about the swords...

Felix snorted, "Probably too worried that they would catch whatever crazy you have." he teased lightly.

"Of course i care..." She gave a puzzled look towards Felix. The guy was trying to annoy her and now he knows she wont eat him it appears he doesnt mind that she's there after all.
She sa how happy he was that she cared so she added to it by saying. "I can see the angle they were getting at but i think they mistook your muscle for flesh." She smiled trying to help his ego a bit.
"As for eating human food i havent tried" She looked thoughtful and slightly upset as she realised the reason why. "My family couldnt control what they were. I wanted to be able to as i didnt have many friends back home. I left home at 17 and came here. I tend to lie low because i dont know anyone here. this looked like a decent pub and i saw Mr dishy come in so i thought i'd chance it." She left itopen to either Madoc or Dillon thinking they were 'Mr Dishy'. "You're the first lot of people i've properly hung out with that haven't ran away."
She looked like she was raking up the past too much and was on the brink of tears. She took a deep breath, then tried to brush it off.

Dillon gave Madoc a look that said 'you are SO Mr Dishy' apparently out of fear of his macho merc status being compromised by being called that.
He then shrugged.
"Human's don't taste so bad. Kinda like chicken."
....He realised that this might not have been a clever thing to say.
"...Uhh, so I heard, anyway."

Felix wrinkled his nose, "Weird. This is[/u] Edgehaven, why would people run away? Most humans get along with Weres, its the Vamps they tend to have problems with." He shrugged a shoulder before setting the glass down and grabbing the broom, might as well clean up that shattered glass across the floor before some bum fell over and shredded their face - with him and Zack here, he didn't like the idea of blood getting across the floor. He didn't suffer from blood lust generally, just when he was really hungry and it was there and fresh and lots of it, the smell more than the sight of it got to him. He wasn't so sure about Zack but either way, blood was a no no.

Zack snorted over his bottle of Kopperberg, before giving Dillion a knowing grin,
"Well, I'd say more like undercooked pork, but I'm only guessing this of course," he tapped his cigarette against the ashtray, before addressing Harmony without really looking at her,
"The way I see it, you can either accept who you are and anyone who cares about that sort of thing can bugger off, or you can live in shame of what you are. I'd rather be myself and be happy about it - it's no one's fault that they were born a vampire, lycan, or human, and it's not the victim's fault if they were changed into a vampire or a lycan either."
He placed the end of the cigarette in his mouth and chewed it thoughtfully,
"We're in Edgehaven. There are feuds left, right and centre - and I'm not just talking about Lycans and Vampires either. Chances are you're gonna get embroiled in some kind of trouble; might as well just go with the flow and deal with it when it happens," he advised, absentmindedly scratching the tattoo on his hand.

Madoc scooted over on his seat a little, out of the way of the spray of peanuts that came from Dillon. He nodded though. "Nah, we're just the nobodies, mate. Nothing special about us." The movement meant that he was closer to Harmony, which wasn't ideal for him, but he'd rather be sat near her than Dillon at the moment.
He grinned at Felix's comment, making his eyes crinkle in the corners, and shook his head, laughing. He frowned slightly at 'Mr Dishy', decided she meant Dillon and gave him a pointed look that told him so. He was suprised when he found Dillon was giving him the same look.
He let the conversation about what humans tasted like pass over his head - it wasn't really a subject that interested him. It actually grossed him out a little, if he was honest. Instead, he concentrated on his pint. Until he noticed that Harmony was on the verge of tears.
He blinked. Crying women had never been his strong point, and crying lycan women were even worse. "uhm... you ok?" He asked her tentatively.
