Felix pushed himself upright with a deep breath, his lips twitching as he breathed shakily and tried to control the giggles that threatened to make another appearance. "Well.... we've given you our names Swordmaster, c'mon, anti-up. What's yours?" He demanded.

Dillon looked between the two of them, and felt like he had missed some joke. He sat there, waiting for them to stop laughing patiently.
"Um, well, my name's...um..." He looked down into his drink, and managed to mumble. "...Dillon...." Before deciding to rapidely move on with the conversation.
"So what do you guys do for a living?" He asked chirpily, trying to avoid the whole name thing. "Well, you're a barman, I can see that..." He said to Felix. "But, what about Stringy McLongHair there?"

Madoc grinned. "Hey, Dillon's not that bad. Dylan Thomas for example - great writer, if a bit nuts."
His grin was quickly replaced by a faint scowl at the name 'Stringy McLonghair'. He wished people would leave his hair out of it - it looked good, dammit!
He paused. He was never sure how to answer that question. He messed around with the phrasing in his head and then settled simply for : "I don't."

"Ah, professional bum. Like it." Dillon nodded, trying to ignore the fact that he'd caught his name. Even Dillon knew calling people like Madoc 'professional bum' was a good way to wind him up. Sort of like insulting his hair. "Mind you, you could always start doing stuff."
Dillon tried to resist. He really did. But he couldn't.
"Starting with a haircut." He grinned.

Felix shook his head, "Oi, take it outside if you're going to start." He warned, a faint smirk coming to his mouth. "Or I'll throw you out." Probably one of the reasons Moe hired him, Vampires were stronger than normal humans - hence they made great bouncers/orderlies.

Madoc's faint frown turned into a full-blown glare. There were three reasons he hadn't leapt at Dillon already - one was that he was obviously unaware of the dangers of winding up people like Madoc, two was the two katana's strapped to Dillon's back and three was that he didn't really want Felix to chuck him out. He liked this pub.
Instead, he muttered something like 'bloody mentals' into his pint and scowled.

Dillon gave Felix a look of geniune surprise. Had he just threatened him? Nah. He couldn't have. He had swords. Nobody threatened the lunatic carrying swords around. That was just bad for your health.
Instead, he settled for a; "Hey, what did I say?" Putting his hands up defensively. "You lot aren't half touchy round here..."
He turned to Madoc and delivered an over the top scowl. "And I'll have you know, buddy, I'm only mental 'cause I got shot in the head!" ...Wait. That sounded better in his brain that it did out loud. "In the army." He added. Nope. Still sounds stupid. "...Serving my country, instead of sitting here 'don't'ing like somebody I could name!" And there was the moral rightiousness! Score!

Madoc, drinking from his pint, made a scoffing sound in the back of his throat. He gave Dillon a distainful look, and then tried to ignore him. He was tempted to make a comment about how he wasn't suprised that Dillon had been in the army, but he settled instead for glaring into his pint.
He looked up breifly, and gave Felix a look that asked 'why did we end up with the nutter?'.

Felix sighed, "If either of you two start a fight, I will end it. And you won't be coming back in alright?" he added with narrowed eyes, the smile falling from his face as he put the glass he had been polishing down firmly. "And enough of the smart ass remarks from you, people come in for a quiet pint. They would like it to remain quiet." He added looking at the Slayer coolly.
(damn fast poster people.)

Dillon gave Felix a look for a moment that seemed to genuinally be serious. "Hey, I really..." He let out a slight chuckle, holding his arms up. "...don't like being told what to do." He kept his arms close enough to his swords just for a fraction long enough to let Felix know he could have drawn them, and lowered his hands.
"He's the one who called me mental." Dillon reminded Felix instead. "Not my fault he can't take a joke. That's the problem with this place, too many vamires, not enough comedy." Unfortunately, 'being quiet' really didn't come naturally to Dillon. He clearly, however, wasn't scared of Felix. Part of being a slayer was a natural lack of fear in the face of the fanged ones, and part of being Dillon was a moronic inability to avoid bad situations. Combined, it was a surprise that he was still walking...

Felix gave Dillon an equally serious look, "People starting fights is bad for business, nothing personal but if someone starts they're out. Rules of the establishment." he then paused and cracked a smirk, "And to be honest, you were insulting his hair. Some people take pride in their hair." He pointed out, and really, his was longer than Madoc's, he just ahd it pulled back.

Madoc nodded to Felix to show him he wasn't about to start anything and got on with his pint complacently - Madoc was pretty handy in a fight when he needed to be, and he'd had his fair share of broken bones and bar fights, but he didn't fancy taking on a guy with two katanas while unarmed.
He noted Dillon's complete lack of fear towards Felix. Even for a nutter, that was a bit stupid, he thought. Most people have the sense not to threaten a vampire, whether they've seen them before or not, and especially not to insult one that was serving you beer.
He shook his head. Looks like there's more to this guy than just swords and mouth/ he thought. Unless he really is that stupid...
Sensing the bulid-up of tension, Madoc cleared his throat and reverted to his usual way of dispersing a tense situation - talking. Not Dillon-style talking, but proper small talk. Give someone something to talk about or change the subject, Madoc had found, and they'd soon forget about wanting to cut your head off.
"So what're you doing in Edgehaven?" He asked, mildly interested, without actually looking at Dillon.

The door opens with a creak, and Zack steps into the pub, the collar of his jacket popped up and one hand holding it closed across his neck. A cigarette is perched between his lips, and he stops long enough to tap some excess ash outside of the door before he shuts the door behind him. He lets go of the collar of his coat, and gives his wind-blown hair a quick ruffle and combs out the tangles with one hand as he peers around the bar.
Eventually, he ambles up to the bar - the hand not clutching his precious cigarette returning his collar to its normal flattened position, whilst giving the people sat nearby a cursorary glance. Reaching the bar, he pulls out a seat and perches on it. He doesn't say anything. He really doesn't need to - just folds his arms on the polished surface of the bar, cigarette still clutched loosely between the fingers of his right hand and gives Felix a slow grin that could remind one of a very smug Cheshire Cat.

Dillon leapt on his chance to say; "I'm a sword for hire!" 'Sword for hire' was his version of 'gun for hire'. No matter how much he said it, it hadn't caught on in conversation, but that wouldn't stop him constantly trying to drop it in whereever he could.
To such an extent this took presidence over saying anything to the newcomer. Well, until he spotted the cigarrette, figured out the 'vamp' part, and couldn't resist a; "Those things'll kill you, ya know." He didn't add 'oops, too late', for the sake of it being too obvious, but it was clear that he considered it.

Felix stiffened as the other vampire walked in and narrowed his eyes when he took the seat, his hands tightening on the glass as he attempted to refrain from the nasty retort on his tongue. "What'll it be?" He asked flatly, just the slightest of edges in his tone of voice as he tried to keep the dislike out of the words.
