"Get some ear muffs." Suggested Dillon to Madoc. "Solves that problem pretty darn good." He added, before turning back to Zack.
"Sure, you would think it was a crime, comic book thief!" He spat bitterly, turning his attention to Felix now. For an overrun personality like Dillon's, the three way war around him was great fun!
"You should relax more, y'know?" He told the bartender. "Can't let an ear licking get you down. Heck, I got shot, and I'm still goin'..."

The change in Zack's persona could almost have been announced with a jarring click. His eyes narrowed slightly, going a little darker and the lids growing heavier as he shifted his gaze to look at Madoc. He tilted his head very slightly where it was rested in the palm of his hand after a moments consideration to look at Madoc fully,
"I'm not sure how this concerns you. He's mad at me, not you. And hell, he'll probably deck me for this if he runs into me later on." Zack shrugs and takes a drag of his cigarette, "I don't make any excuses for being an ass - I deserve the future punch." He taps the cigarette against the ashtray and shrugs,
"Besides. The attitude of the barman isn't going to affect the taste of all that alcohol you're drinking. Unless you fail miserably at shutting out people that frustrate you, then I'm afraid I can't help you there. I'm as much of a customer here as you are." He pauses, and blinks, his eyes undarkening for a moment,
"Speaking of, can I get another Kopparberg whilst I think about it?" he asked, no smirk on his face this time. He does, however, pay attention to Dillon's next statement,
"You got shot? And you're still up and running? That's impressive." He sounds totally sincere too. He knows bullets are more painful for humans at the end of the day.

Felix blinked at the sudden change in the other male, his eyes narrowing slightly as his body shifted and tensed in case a fight broke out. He resolutely ignored the faint pins and needles sensation that crawled across his body, he was expecting the other Vampire to leap at Madoc when he suddenly turned his attention to Felix. Jarring him into surprise and a little shock before he just nodded a little dumbly and cast a concerned glance at the human before following the other Vampire's request - Dillon would make sure that Madoc wasn't attacked, right? At the moment, the Slayer seemed to really dislike the other Vamp because of a comic book theft, perhaps that would.... oh who was he kidding?
Better fill the order quickly before he needed to throw people out.
"Two twenty." He repeated as he handed over the now open bottle, eyeing the other vamp warily now, whereas before it had been with plain irritation.

Madoc felt a sudden rush of empathy for Felix - he wouldn't have been suprised if his own eye had started twitching. He glared at Dillon and Zack murderously. It was times like this he sort of wished he'd let that lycan bite him during high school. Super strength would come in handy about now.
Like Zack, his interest was caught by Dillon's words. Well, that explains the mental trauma... He thought,
He tensed again, sharing Felix's expectation that Zack was going to spring. He wasn't particularly afraid, he'd fought vampires before, but it was definately something he could do without, especially because he wasn't sure what Dillon would do. He sized up Zack, just in case, and caught sight of the Lémartes crest tattooed on his hand.
"Oh, you're one of that lot." He said scornfully. "Shoulda known." He'd never heard of the Lémartes' until La Belle Gabrielle opened, but from what he'd seen and heard, it was a good place to stay away from if you were human. He turned away from Zack and faced Felix again.
"Another pint, if you don't mind mate." He said, pulling some change out of his pocket.

"Yep, got shot. Good too." He made a little pistol with his fingers and mimed being shot in the temple. "Inna head too. Not many people live through that, y'know. Specially not with their brain completely and perfectly in tact like mine no doubt is." Dillon didn't usually deny that he was crazy, but then again, he wouldn't be crazy if he didn't do things that didn't make sense. Hence, right now, he seemed to feel like denying that his brain had been turned to mush by the bullet.
He apparently had either not noticed Zack's shift in personality, or hadn't been concerned. In truth, Dillon had a feeling that a fight was teetering, but he always felt that way. Half the time he ended up starting them, so in this case, it was nothing special. He was kinda having fun anyway, watching the trio dance around each other, seeing how far they could push each other.
"One of what lot? D'you mean gay? 'cause I figured that out right away..." Dillon asked, despite knowing things were close to a brawl, he didn't seem to figure out or understand that he was making things worse...

Madoc raised an eyebrow at Dillon. Could he really be that stupid? Then again, if he'd been shot in the head and lived, it wasn't too suprising. He doubted, however, that Dillon's brain was 'perfectly intact'.
"No, one of the Lémartes lot." Madoc replied shortly, glaring at Zack again. He'd had a bad experience with a Lémartes-employed vampire a few weeks ago, and being Madoc, he'd tarred them all with the same brush.

Sliding the money across the bar, Zack picked up his new drink and took a sip. He paused, however, when Madoc drew attention to the crest tattooed on his hand.
To be honest, he'd gotten used to ignoring it himself. He'd been trying to maintain the slim balance between keeping in contact with Lémartes corp, and staying as far away as he could.
He snorted,
"Judgemental type, aren't you?" he said to Madoc, waving his bottle slightly to cut off anything he might say in response, "No, no. You're making it pretty clear. So who'd you have the misfortune of running into? 'Cause believe you me, if you ran into...say...Kana, then I don't blame you for thinking we're all murderous psychopaths. Some of the lower ranks seem to be in an ongoing dick waving contest with each other too. Does horrible things to the personality."
He rested the drink on the bar and gave Madoc a wry smile,
"Sadly, I happened to be in the wrong place and the wrong time and was given very few options." There was no need to explain much past that, and he didn't feel the need to justify himself too much to Madoc. He'd never sat well with the judgemental types, and he knew firsthand that some of the people at Lémartes weren't half bad.
He did, however, give a small grin at Dillon's statement,
"Being a bit general there, aren't we?" he laughed slightly, "I prefer to say I don't discriminate between genders."

From the other end of the bar, Moe just shook his head as he watched the most dysfunctional group he'd ever seen interact. The only thing that could make things worse was the presence of Captain Wright - thank all the heathen gods he could think of that the man's SiC wouldn't let him drink anymore.
Felix however, frowned in confusion as he collected Madoc's dirty glass and began to pour him a fresh pint, who were the Lemartes? He tuned Dillon out - mainly because he got the feeling he would have to try to strangle the man if he paid anything more than minimal attention to him. The blonde waved away the change that Madoc was offering, after having a vamp like that guy get in your face and not promptly running for the hills, Felix decided that he needed a drink. Moe wouldn't mind, they took care of their regulars and Moe greeted him with a smile so he must have been a regular right?
At Zack's reply, he decided that if he ever did run into this 'Kana' character, he was running for it. Screw looking like a pussy, Felix didn't get into fights he didn't know if he could win.

Madoc backed down a little, accepting that maybe Zack wasn't as bad as he'd thought. He smiled at Felix and picked up his third pint, giving him a silent toast. He was making a mental note of how many free drinks he'd been given, and was planning on slipping the money into the till somehow - he might have been lazy and a bit of a git, but he still felt guilty about too many free drinks.
"Didn't catch his name." He replied shortly. "I was too busy trying not to get eaten." He paused and sipped at his beer. "Noticed that tattoo on his hand. Doubt it was anybody important though." He sipped again. "Kana's the owners brother, right? Yea, I've heard some pretty nasty stories about that guy."
Now that he'd actually spoken to the guy, he conceded mentally that he maybe wasn't as bad as first thought. He still thought he was an arse though. He noticed the confused look on Felix's face.
"You not heard of Vincent Lémartes then?" He asked, puzzled. From what he'd heard from his vampire friends, Lémartes was a well-known name in the Vamp community.

"Huh." Dillon remarked to the info about Lémartes. "...So, they hire swords often? ...And urr, y'know, people who use 'em? 'cause I've been out of work for a good half an hour now..."
Dillon didn't exactly have standards when it came to work. He'd do whatever he needed to do to get paid. Unfortunately, his unique brand of, well, intellect, meant that many people thought twice before hiring him. He was pretty hard to predict, and quite hard to control, given that you never knew what might be motivating him.
"Oh, and good for you." He added to Zack. "Should never discriminate. Unless it's against people who discriminate. They deserve to be discrimanated against..."

"Kana? Yeah, he's Vincent's younger brother. Though I can't say there's much love lost there," Zack shrugged, and took another sip of his drink. "I've had the...well...I'm not sure pleasure is the right word, but I've worked with him before. Literally five minutes after I ended up roped into the corp. Any stories you've heard are...probably true, and then some. The guy's a real sadist."
Zack shifted his eyes towards Dillon and smiled wryly again,
"They don't so much hire as stick their claws into you and refuse to let go, as far as I've seen. If you haven't heard of them," he tilted his head at Felix, "then you'd probably want to keep it that way. I've met Vincent once, and he's very sly. Intelligent too; he has brains, brawn and lackeys. Triple threat."

The blonde nodded hesitantly before glancing at Madoc, "No, I've only been to La Belle once or twice when I couldn't get any blood-packs from the hospital. I tend to stay away from the typical Vampire circles, safer that way." He admitted with a shrug of his shoulder.
He sighed and shook his head at the other vamp's description of Vincent Lemartes, "He does sound like a piece of work." The blonde muttered, a modern day vampiric King Pin.... definitely someone to avoid - note to self: Tattooed hands = bad road.

Zack made a low humming noise under his breath,
"Just as long as you don't get scouted by them, you should be okay. I'm not sure how it usually goes, but, I was unfortunate enough to be taken to Vincent himself. It's impossible to say no to the boss himself and expect to leave the room unscathed," he recounted, folding his arms on the bar and resting his chin on them lazily.
"Ha. There's an irony in here somewhere. I got told the whereabouts of my cousin after Vincent got his claws in me. That's pretty much guranteed we're not going to have a family friendly reunion."

A blonde eyebrow quirked, cousin? Now he was curious, but he refrained from asking.
Barkeepers were kinda like priests. They sit around and listen to people bitch and moan about their terrible lives, offer advice, and watch those people promptly ignore said advice. After all, the mass population generally prefers to be pitied than working for anything better. But barkeepers, like priests, know how to keep their mouths shut; at least, until their respective establishments close. After that, it’s a free-for-all, and what was once a respectable clergyman or barkeeper suddenly becomes the main attraction at the metaphorical water-cooler.
So Felix just nodded, "I'll keep that in mind." He informed the other vampire before cracking open the dishwasher - which had finished with the dirty glasses and began to dry them with an old teatowel.

Dillon waved a hand excitingly. "See! This guy needs lackeys! I'd be a great lackey! I can lack with the best of them!" He explained, before stopping to look at his hand he had been waving around.
"Though I kinda like it all un-tatooed. Man, why can I never get a fair employer anymore? It's all 'shut up Rickman' this or 'you have failed us for the last time' that, or 'we want to carve a tatoo into you'...."
"No fair." He sulked, folding his arms.
