[Austin]

his last command...
Austin saw the stairs to the roof access ahead and took a deep breath
"Right ladies and gents, this is it, load up. When you guys are ready I'm gonna boot down that door and we're going to go out there firing, only switch to close combat when you run out of ammo"
he said, changing the clips in his pistols
"keep each other covered as usual and try and take as many of them down as we can"
I don't have a damn clue how I'm gonna take that sword off of Rino...

[adrienne]

Adrienne reloaded her revolver again, her eyes seeking and finding Austin's.
Go Commander, you'll be fine and you'll win. She said quietly in her mind, letting the thought be heard by Austin she hoped.
She tugged the sleeves of her jacket down into place and waited patiently but tensely, her eyes flickering to Cindy and making sure she was in a place where Adrienne could be able to protect her.

[Cindy Harker]

Cindy hid close to Adrienne, drawing her gun but her hands quivering so badly she nearly dropped it. She still had the safety on, but didn't notice (Cindy didn't really understand guns).

She wasn't entirely certain why she was there. She couldn't help. Not in this fight. She just hoped she was useless enough to not gain Rino's attention. She somehow doubted he'd view her as more than a fly, and that'd probably help her stay alive.

Regardless, she could sense an immense magical build up beyond the door. She didn't think she was particularly intuned to magic spells, but it was obvious that something big was on the other side of that door.

Something really big.

[Alucard "Pyr0" Valentine]

Alucard kept close to Jaden now, feeling the need to keep near to his adopted uncle. He had managed to secure a sub machine gun on the trek towards the roof but it only had lead bullets in it.
Its better than my clumsy melee abilities he though to himself.

[Jaden Kalen]

Jaden glanced to Alucard. "You don't look so good." he looked down on the sub-machine gun. "That's not going to stop much."

He span both of his colts so the barrels was in his hands. "Go on take them." he told Alucard, "You got eighteen blessed bullets with those, it's better than none. Besides I fight better with my knives anyway."

It was a big thing for Jaden to offer his father's guns to anyone. He nodded to Alucard, "Besides I don't know what I'd do if you died. You can give them back to me when this is all over, give me something to come back for." he smiled.

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi twirled her kunai absent mindedly around her fingers, trying not to think about the battle ahead. She was very anxious, but it wasn't something she wanted to show to her comrades.

[Leiana DarkFang]

Leiana took out her pistol and studied it thoughtfully, checking how many rounds were in the clip and then how many she had on her person.
"I'm with you 'til the end Sarge"

[Alucard "Pyr0" Valentine]

Alucard had an idea of how important Jadens guns were to him.
"I'm... I'm honored" he said with a smile. He checked them over quickly.
"Don't you worry Jaden, I'm planning to stick around for a lot longer than just tonight." he winked.

[Austin]

Austin clicked his back and strode towards the door
"Okay, that door is coming down in five; Jaden and Kunoichi, you're with me, everyone else second wave"
he took a breath to steady himself
"Good luck folks"
from two steps away he booted the door, letting out a primal growl as the door swung off of its hinges, spinning in mid air for a few yards and then landing in pieces.
He took a handful of fragmentation grenades from his belt and threw them into the opening. As they exploded he stepped through onto the roof, his pistols raised, firing off shots into any target he could find.

[Jaden Kalen]

As soon as Austin kicked the door Jaden drew two of his throwing knives and threw them into the fray. He was not sure if they hit but he hoped.

Jaden drew both his grandfathers daggers and dived into the battle.

[Alucard "Pyr0" Valentine]

The moment the door was out of the way, Alucard tried to pick a target, but the dark outside wasnt helping. He fired out the door once, but the recoil of the ancient guns knocked him back a step.
Bloody hell, I forgot these colts kick like a mule!

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi followed Austin and Jaden through the doors, her eyesight slowly adapting to the gloom of the roof compared to the relative brightness of the hallway they had just been standing in.
here goes nothing...

[Rino]

Bullets flew through the air, and several hit the levitating figure in the centre of the roof, ripping into him. He dropped from the air, and landed, white clothes folding down around him, like a cape.

For a moment, he didn't move. Dramatic effect, of course. You couldn't expect any less. Slowly, he began to laugh. He raised, clothes bending around him, forming as he stood, back to the Circle.

"About time." Caacrinolaas grinned, before turning to face them, eyes blazing with demonic fire. "But, I've got bad news for you." He smiled, and glanced upwards.

Spinning above his head, wreathed with flame, was his sword. The Harbinger. It somehow looked like a demonic firework as it span, but that thought was too lighthearted for the occasion. The Gem of Array had already been absorbed.

"Well, hold on..." Rino patted his pockets, as if drawing out the moment just because he could. "Well, I had this whole evil speech. Lots of good stuff. Religious analogies. Some cliched evil laughing. Y'know, evil. But, well, looks like someone put a bullet in it, so I guess I'll just have to sum it up."

The sword suddenly stopped spinning, and crashed to the floor, sticking out of the ground in front of him. He picked it up with one hand casually. Above him, a gigantic red portal was opening.

"End of the world. You're too late." Shapes were already emerging from the portal. Demons. And not your friendly 'human' looking kind either. Real demons. Twisted, demented shapes.

The portal began to arch out across the city, creating more. Bigger, more monsterous demons were slipping out. Some of them were the size of buildings. Rino was making good on his claim to end the world.

He held his sword out, pointing at Austin.
"Go on then, Commander Darkora. Give the command." He spat. "Send them after the demons. You'll deal with me."

It's how it had to be. Rino against Austin.

Rino gave into all his impulses.
"Mwahahahahahahahahahaha!" He cackled, raising into the air. There are some things you just have to do. The evil laugh is one of them.

"Come then, Austin Darkora! Your time is at an end!"

It was, of course, uneccesarily pretentious. But, hey, what's the point of being an evil supervillain if you couldn't get that one moment of pure cliche in?

[Carla Glenn]

Carla stepped out from behind Rino, and decided she'd better cut it a bit shorter than her boss.

"Hey guys. Y'know those demons your meant to deal with?"

She grinned to the assembled Circle, and electricity cackled between her fingers.

"I'm one of them." She smirked. "Now where's that ninja brat? I've got some serious vengeance issues..."

[Jaden Kalen]

Jaden scowled and quickly drew a throwing knife. He threw it was all his strength towards Rino. It had been blessed by Leiana and so hopefully would do some damage.

"Austin!" Jaden yelled, "What's the order?"
