[Austin]

Austin drew his sword, thinking quickly
"You all know what to do, I'll deal with him"
he called to the others, his eyes locked on Rino
Round two...
he strode through the carnage towards Rino, his heart beating at a thousand hertz but his thoughts calm and collected
"Haven't lost your dramatic flair I see, all that time in the sword gave you valuable practice"
He called to the demon, his face serene and determined.

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi Awknowledged the order from Austin and turned her attention to Carla
"Ah electrostatic lady, ready for another ass kicking?"
she asked, making her way towards Carla, twirling her kunai around her wrists
this is gonna be fun...

[Rino]

Rino gave a casual shrug. There was a knife in his shoulder. Blessed by the feel of it, but he didn't care.
"Yeah, well, I ran through it a few times in front of the mirror. Y'know, get it just right." He replied, twirling his sword absent mindedly. "Really thought I captured the subtleties of the role..." He went on, sarcastic grin upon his face.

"Although, I think I could used some more depth on the 'haaaa'. I always get the 'mwa' right but it's the 'haaa' that's the tricky bit. Getting that throaty sound...."

He swung the sword for Austin's head, almost as if it was a casual afterthought from his talk...

[Carla Glenn]

Carla smiled. She'd been looking forward to this. And running it through in her head how to win this time.
"You know what they say." She grinned. "Beat me once, shame on you. Beat me twice, shame on... No. Hang on. I got that wrong didn't I?"

She paused, shrugged, and grinned.

"Oh, I really don't care." She flung a bolt of lightning at Kunoichi with casual grace. "The best part about lightning is that it travels at the speed of light." She smirked. "So let's see just how fast you are, Teenage Mutant Ninja Girl."

[Austin]

"Many have tried, many have failed, that was a fair attempt"
Austin replied through gritted teeth, bringing his sword up in an attempt to deflect the incoming blow, his focus entirely on Rino now, the maelstrom around him fading until it was just a distant roar.

[Kunoichi]

((actually lightning travels at a fraction of the speed of light C = 299,792,458 metres per sec, Lightning = 149,668,992 metres per second, so about half ))

Kunoichi shadow stepped at the last moment, reappearing about ten metres closer and to the right of Carla
"Your aim hasn't improved hun"
she called, mockingly

[adrienne]

Adrienne drew her revolver and fired off a round at a demon that ran towards her then thankfully did not miss.
She knew she couldn't help Austin in this fight so she figured it best to stay out of the battle with Rino and help the others.
"Cindy, I really need you on my left here, stay low." Adrienne called, bringing her sights to bear on a second demon and advancing.

[Rino]

Rino grinned, pushing his blade down out of the way, taking Austin's with it. Rather than bother sword fighting, with the two weapons locked up, he just backhanded Austin across the face with full demonic strength.

"Don't worry, I'll give a better one at my coronation as Emperor of Earth." He span his blade, and followed it up with several quick blows. They weren't quite as powerful as his powerhouse hits, but when you were as strong as Rino, 'not quite as powerful' wasn't really an issue. It just meant it was like getting hit by a regular train instead of a freight train.

"I was going to rename it 'Hell', but, 'Emperor of the Earth' just has such a good ring to it, don'tcha think?" He snarled, swinging in overhead with his sword, the weapon wreathed with hellfire, Rino himself gleefully ignoring the carnage unfolding around him...

[Carla Glenn]

((You know this. I know this. I don't think we told Carla )).

"Oh, I wouldn't say that..." Carla grinned, having fried the large aerial behind them, which was now sparking and exploding. It began to fall, causing more carnage.

While from the ground the aerial on top of a skyscraper didn't look that big, once up there, it was a pretty hefty thing to have coming down around you.

Carla wasn't about to point out that she had accidently hit it, and she was aiming for Kunoichi, and instead decided to just go with it. She blasted lightning at the largest open area she figured Kunoichi would dive for to dodge the falling tower.

If she couldn't hit her before she moved, she'd hit her after she had moved...

[Austin]

The blow sent Austin to the floor, disorientating him for a second. Thankfully, he returned to his senses in time to roll to his feet and bring his sword around in a horizontal slash.
"Don't write any speeches just yet Rino"

[Cindy Harker]

Cindy shrieked and obeyed Adrienne, dropping to the ground to her left and cowering, dropping her gun in pure fear. She didn't know how to fire the damn thing anyway, and her hands were shaking too much to keep a grip.

She dared a look at Adrienne's target, and spotted a lithe white demon, faceless, eyeless, barely humanoid. It was like some kind of wild animal, if a wild animal could smash city blocks and was currently trying to murder you...

Cindy gathered up all of her courage to speak, and managed in a hurried, frightened voice:
"A-a-aim for the kneecaps!" Despite that, her posh accent still managed to make it sound like an order. "I know that demon! It keeps both its hearts in its kneecaps!"

Nobody ever said demons had orthodox biology after all, and Cindy had studied them. At least she could be useful with advice...

[Rino]

Rino blocked the slash with his sword, and looped the two swords around, forcing both combatants to swap places.

"Oh, I would, I would, but looks like Carla just knocked out our aerial. I guess my world domination speech will have to wait until after I've killed you. Shame. I wanted you to hear it."

He thrust his sword forwards, and span in another slash, causing the swords to lock once more.

"Thought I could ask your opinion." He grunted, the two of them now facing each other over crossed swords. "You and your precious Circle have the world eating out of your hands, anyway. The world eating out of the hands of monsters, werewolves and vampires..." He gave that same horrible grin. "You took over the world first, I'm just taking it back."

[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi did as Carla had suspected she would but her aim was slightly off - Carla's electrical discharge causing Kunoichi only a minor shock, though it was still enough to momentarily incapacitate her and send her to the floor.

[Austin]

"I'm not gonna let that happen"
Austin grunted in response, moving to the side slightly before aiming a kick at Rino's midsection

[Carla Glenn]

Carla gave a smile. Finally. At least the world would end with the rather satisfying image of Kunoichi getting fried by her.

She walked towards her, slowly, heels clicking on shattered concrete the entire way.
"And now, young Jedi....you will die..." She smirked, lightning beginning to spark on her fingertips, before stopping for a moment.

"Hm. That was a bit geeky, wasn't it? Was that a bit geeky?" She paused to think about it. "Y'know what?" She smiled. "I don't care!"

She shot out a full blast of lightning at the prone Kunoichi...
