[Kunoichi]

Kunoichi grinned
first blood
absent mindedly she drew another throwing dagger and hurled it towards a demon that had been watching their fight. The blessed dagger caught the demon square in the forehead, on fire before it hit the ground.

[Rino]

Rino locked swords with Austin, and pushed back, causing the two to back away from each other.

"Well, excuse me, but being an invincible immortal Hell Lord tends to lend itself to giving me time to talk." He said with a shrug.

"Of course, the fact that I was currently destroying the Earth made me hope you wouldn't think I was just all talk..." He added, running in for another attack...

[Carla Glenn]

Carla held her arm tightly, the cut stinging and burning in a way she hadn't experienced before. She was half-demon, so a blessed weapon hurt, a lot. But she had never felt a cut from one before, and right now, she was really wishing she could have gone through her entire life without doing so...

She dropped to her knees, teeth gritted, and managed to swallow the pain, getting back up, trying to ignore the flow of blood.

"...You think you're so clever, right now, don't you?" She spat, furious from the pain. "You can cut me and hit me and do whatever you want, but you won't win. You can't stop Rino."

Except Carla didn't want Rino to kill Kunoichi. After everything this ninja had done to her, she wanted that pleasure herself...

"You can't stop me!" She blasted another lightning attack directly at where she figured Kunoichi to be. She had seen her throw the dagger at the demon, so knew, provided she hadn't been able to move, where she should be.

Carla, had at least, been watching the best she could to see if she moved. But she knew the ninja was tricky and so she was ready for another attack...

[Alucard "Pyr0" Valentine]

Alucard was almost horrified by the site on the rooftop. Almost. He automatically strafed to one side of the rooftop and open fired upon the indistinguishable shapes that were the demons taking their true, hellish form. Two blessed bullets tore through the flesh of one form, engulfing it in flames. He looked over to see how Jaden was managing himself.
“How are you doing over there Jaden ol’ pal?” He yelled over to him.

[Jaden Kalen]

Jaden brought one of his knives up and slashed a demon across the chest, he was glad of the blessing Leiana had placed on them before the fight.

He turned and stabbed a demon in the chest leaving the knife embedded in it. He quickly turned and threw a knife into a demon who was advancing on him from behind. Upon doing that he quickly retrieved his knife from the dying demon, which was almost completely engulfed in flames.

"I've been better." He called over to Alucard, diving out of the way as a swing from a demons sword cut through the space he had been in split seconds before. He fell badly, knocking the wind out of himself and just had time to move as the demon swung at where he know lay. Gasping for breath, he got to his feet and weakly parried the demons attack the force of the hit almost dislocating his arm from its socket.

He knew that if he didn't do something he would die - images buzzed through his head, pictures of family, of friends, of people that needed him, of people that would die if he failed here. He looked at the demon, he would not die here. He fixed the demon with a gaze of pure hatred and advanced on the creature. It seemed to take amusement at this and its face contorted into something that may have been a smile.

When Jaden was in striking distance the demon swung its sword hoping to sever Jaden in two. Jaden saw this and simply ducked underneath the blade, the demons face contorted again into one of shock as Jaden stabbed it in the chest with both of his grandfathers knives. It was quickly engulfed in flames and was gone.

Jaden stumbled backwards and caught hold of a ledge. He breathed heavily and he felt weak. He looked around the chaos and sighed. Still so much more to do. He saw all the others battling and he shook his head. I'm getting too old for this.

[Austin]

I'm getting too old for this
Austin's thoughts echoed Jaden's as he brought his sword around in an attempt to deflect Rino's
got to get that damn sword...
Austin gritted his teeth and began a fight back, showers of sparks falling from every time his and Rino's blades connected

[adrienne]

Adrienne blinked, suddenly she remembered something. She'd put a vial of holy water in the hidden compartment in the hilt of her sword and completely forgotten about it.
"Cindy, I need you to do something else for me. You know the pommel of my sword, twist it off to the left! Hurry!" She said urgently, shooting at the oncoming demons. Her plan was to throw the vial of holy water in the path of the demons and see what happened. If nothing did she would waste the holy water, if something did it would give her time to reload for the next demon.

[Kunoichi]

we'll see about that
Kunoichi tried to dodge but misjudged the timing slightly, the blast striking her a glancing blow on the side and wheeling her off of her feet. Thankfully her costume dissipated most of the charge but it was still left smoking slightly.
ow...

[Cindy Harker]

Cindy took Adrienne's sword and lifted it out of her scabbard, only to be pulled down by the weight of it. She heaved it up, straining. A girl like Cindy wasn't used to lifting, well, anything, especially swords. She rapidely found she was holding it too high up, and the weight of the blade was pulling it down over her head. She yelped, and fell with it, spinning around in a Circle as she was pulled down helplessly with the heavy sword...

...and cleaved the demon sneaking up on her in two. She paused, wide eyed.
"Oh, urm, sorry, I..." She stopped herself, and considered. "I mean, take that!" She gave it a feeble kick with the toe of her shoe, and instantly regretted it, her sandle stillettos not protecting her toes and meaning she only ended up hurting herself.

"Oh! Right!" She remembered what she was trying to do, and grabbed the pommel of the sword, and twisted it. Unfortunately, as the above suggests, Cindy was extremely weak. She struggled and strained, but couldn't twist the pommel off. (No, she couldn't open jars either). She frowned, looked embaressed, tried even harder, and gave up, panting and holding her now sore hand.

"Adrienne..." She said softly, as if unsure how to break the news.

[Carla Glenn]

Carla let out a joyous:
"HA!!!" Realising she'd caught Kunoichi.

"I know where you are now, you little bitch!" She cried, firing more bolts of lightning in the ninja's direction. "You really hurt me you know!" She added, blasting away, trying desperately to finish her off.

"But not as much as I'm gonna hurt you! I swear, by the time I'm done with you, you're gonna beg me to kill you!" She grinned. "So I will, but hey, one act of kindness, right?"

She unleashed as much lightning as she could at Kunoichi, hoping to fry her so badly she could no longer move...

[Rino]

Rino blocked the blows from Austin, grinning through the sparks, the massive portal above them opening even further. It was even sweeter than he'd imagined. Sparking swords, glowing portals, rampaging demons...

...This....THIS was how you killed your nemesis. This was how you conquered the world. He brought his sword in close, locking with Austin.

"This is how it ends, Austin. Is it everything you imagined it'd be?" He asked, obviously amused by the whole thing. "If nothing else, it'll make a great cable special when they do a bi-epic on my life..." He pushed him back.

"Oh, except for the fact I'm going to kill all of humanity, but hey..."

[adrienne]

Adrienne's flicked to Cindy.
"Here, I'm sorry. I'm used to working around men who are stronger than us women." She said softly then took the sword, hurriedly twisting off the pommel and taking the vial out, screwing the pommel back on she uncorked the vial than gave Cindy a broad grin.
"Hope this works, we've got one demon and more here and if I go down you're going to have to take over." She said calmly before tossing the vial of holy water into the demons path where it shattered. The demon paused then evidently considered pain to be bearable then walked through. It was wrong though, as soon as its feet hit the holy water they started to smoke as it danced back and forth, finally jumping out of the puddle it howled till Adrienne shot it and it burst into flames.
Adrienne grinned.
"Aha."

[Cindy Harker]

Cindy seemed to make momentary offence to Adrienne's statement on behalf of her gender, and protested.
"Hey! Men are not stronger than us!" She complained, before remembering the person saying it to her was a) a woman too and b) just proven she was very physically capable. Cindy realised she had probably been being sarcastic.

She looked around, and spotted Carla and Kunoichi going at it with more strength than any man on the rooftop (other than maybe Austin and Rino, but they didn't count), not to mention Leiana taking demons apart, or remembering Hope and how she'd taken the entire Circle for a run.

Definitely sarcastic.

"Sorry..." She said awkwardly. "It's just me... I-I mean, I don't exactly spend a lot of time doing exercise, you know?" She admitted with a blush. When you spent four hours a day just getting dressed in your ridiculously fancy clothes and hairstyles you didn't really have much time for anything else it seemed.

[adrienne]

Adrienne smiled at Cindy.
"Don't be sorry." She said gently." I've been there too, I'm more than a little scared right about now as this is something I've never seen before." She admitted quietly.
She raised her revolver, firing off a round and taking an oncoming demon off it's feet, then firing again in rapid succession.

[Cindy Harker]

Cindy wondered what Adrienne had meant by that. She'd been there? She had to admit, Adrienne seemed to have a level of class not present in the other members of the Circle, but she'd assumed that was because she was a woman, and therefore naturally superior, of course. Naturally, someone like Cindy thought of being classy as being superior, but then if she didn't, she wouldn't be quite so ridiculously posh...

"I don't think anybody's ever seen anything like this before." Cindy pointed out, her eery calm only kept because screeching in terror most definitely wouldn't be classy. Plus her throat hurt from all the screeching earlier. "On the bright side, one way or another we'll all be in the history books..." She added dryly.
