Eleri sighed. She was half-tempted to leave Wright there and let him get on with it. However, she Walked around the side with a working arm, slung it over her shoulder and pulled him off the floor.
"You're going to have to learn that you're not invincible." She told him. "You're only human, you know. We get hurt."
She adjusted her arm to support Wright's waist, knocking the shotgun at an angle as she did so. Now if it went off, it would fire over her head as opposed to into it.
"Where's the nearest hospital?" She asked.

Wright groaned, and had to give in and let Eleri help him. Unfortunately, otherwise, he couldn't stand up.
He did know he wasn't invincible, it was just, in the heat of the moment, he usually didn't think about living or dying. He figured whatever happened to him then he could get over later on. It was just when 'later on' came it hurt quite a bit and he regretted it quite a lot.
"I don't know. I don't think I've ever been to the hospital." Wright admitted. "At least while concious enough to work out where we're going..."

Hadrian shrugged, "I'm not sure. I'll call Luci, she volunteers there sometimes." He admitted dragging out his cell phone, which was in surprisingly good condition considering what they'd just been in.

Eleri nodded. "Good idea." She said to Hadrian. "I know there used to be one near here when I was little, but from the looks of it last time I drove past they've relocated."
She sighed at Wright. "Why doesn't that suprise me?"

Wright gave them both an annoyed look.
"Right, if you're going to keep giving me a hard time about this, next time you two can be the ones who do the stupidely heroic thing to save our skins, okay!?" He decided. He didn't often describe things he did as heroic, after all, heroing was for the Circle, with their shiny white teeth and their standing on everybody else...
...but, there had been some Erroyl Flynn style over the topness to swinging out onto the back of a giant monster via a rope with a shotgun...

Eleri flashed Wright what she hoped was a winning smile.
"Is that an order, sir?" She asked cheekily, shifting slightly.
She decided to keep quiet about the fact that once Wright was out, she and Hadrian had not only faced down but killed a very very large demon and probably saved Wright's skin into the bargin.

"Damn skippy." Wright replied wearily, limping along. Contary to their belief, he was aware that they must have done a pretty good job after he'd been, well, 'inconvienced', to stop the demon.
But he had a 'no more than two promotions' a day rule and he'd bloody well stick to it. Besides, they currently didn't have a station to run in, so it seemed fine.
He was still fighting the feeling that the EHPD might have just been finished off for good...

Eleri smiled. At least she knew the Captain was going to pull through now - no doubt he'd be grumpy as hell for a few weeks, but oh well.
There was one upside that she could see - Wright going to a hospital would probably mean painkillers. And painkillers meant no alcohol. Eleri couldn't decide whether it was going to be harder to get Wright off the drink or to keep him off it.
"Which way?" She asked Hadrian.

The brunet sneezed a little on the still settling dust drifting around and put his phone away, "Apparently the hospital relocated next to the museum. The directors felt safer in a more populated area."
((Not sure if this is true. >>; the only hospital i know of it the abandoned one where Violet and Philistine were hanging out. Correct me if I'm wrong.))

((As far as I'm aware nobody's posted an actual Hospital thread so that should be fine. I think one was mentioned once, but never specified so we'll go with there for now.))
"Right..." Eleri said uncertainly. "And uhm... where would the museum be?" She asked, turning to Wright.

((Well, the Circle's base is a hidden base, so I doubt they could have moved a hospital next to it without giving the game away. We might have to change that)).

((Hmm... I didn't think of that. Good point. I'll edit mine and Hadrian's posts accordingly - Hadrian, you can change it again if you like. ))
<Edit: Just created a Hospital thread in the Western Quadrent>

Wright sighed. Why did nobody else know his city like he did?
"It's in the western area. Near that fancy La Belle Gabrielle place." He explained. "Down Edge Street, over the crossover, past the musuem and there it is."
Wright suddenly rememebered that he'd told them he had no idea where it was before.
"Urr, I mean, that's where I think it is..." He added with a nervous look.
Well, he didn't like hospitals...
((I kinda forgot Wright is meant to know the city like the back of his hand, so it made no sense he didn't know where the hospital was before. This is my horrible attempt to retcon a reason into that... It does figure that he wouldn't like hospitals...)).

((Good save ^^))
Eleri raised an eyebrow and shook her head. She was starting to wish she'd driven to work - it would make transporting the captain a lot easier.
Ah well, too late now.
She lead the way slowly into town, towards the hospital.
((Continue in the hospital thread y'reckon? Speed it up a bit?))

((Okay, I figured we should come back here for this. Lemme know if you disagree!))
Wright waited outside the ruins of the station, sat on a piece of rubble. He glanced at his wrist again.
Yep, he still didn't own a watch...
Well, he usually told the time by how drunk he was. (After all, you couldn't rely on the sky in Edgehaven). If he was hungover, morning. If he was slightly drunk, midday. If he was quite drunk, afternoon. Very drunk, evening. And if you shouldnaevenbeaskinwhattimeitisyapunk, then he knew it was probably night.
If he was asleep, it could be any of the above.
That's why his particular plan of 'meet in two hours' hadn't had much application for him, since he had no way of telling when two hours had passed.
He just hoped he was good at guesstimation.
