The blonde nodded, "For the last two hours." He admitted, a slight tic developing in his left eye before he took a deep breath and counted backwards in Russian in his head, the tic vanished, "All I can say is: Smart woman." He muttered in an undertone so the other man wouldn't hear. "And yeah, extremely slow, yourself?" He asked, you generally only got some decent conversation out of someone before they'd finished their second pint, he wanted something to interest him for a little while.
Ah well, he shouldn't complain, at least Moe paid well and gave him a roof over his head, even if the guy was a perpetual slob. If he saw another titty rag lying around he was going to raid the place and then dump it all in the man's room. Call him a woman as much as he wanted but he hated mess, blood, dirt and bruises and broken glass didn't bother him much. But he couldn't stand the thought of someone living - no wallowing- in their own filth.

Madoc laughed at the blondes reaction, his eyes flashing merrily. He cocked his head slightly in interest as Felix counted in Russian. "Very smart woman." He replied, still grinning.
"Aye, so so." He replied to the question. "Same stuff, different day, y'know?"
He looked around the pub briefly, before looking back at Felix. It had suprised him the first time he'd walked in and seen the young blonde behind the bar, but then it would suprise him if there was anyone new behind the bar - as far as Madoc knew, Moe had been running the bar alone for years.
Still, Felix had suprised him more than most, mainly because he'd looked so out of place in the drab, dirty pub.
"So, Russian, huh?" He asked.

He rubbed the back of his neck, "Yeah. The old man came from St Petersburg." he explained, with a last name like Dolohov most people would have figured it he was from that area, but he didn't give his last name out often, luck would have it that Felix was unique enough a first name that it wasn't needed.
The blonde briefly turned his attention to one of the regulars to refil his pint before returning to where he was stood beside Madoc. He figured he might as well do something productive and started to polish the glasses, getting rid of the water-marks from the washing machine.
"Know any yourself? Not many I've met know the difference between Russian and German." He admitted, eyeing the other man. If he knew Russian then he was going to have to curb the swearing, or switch to a different language.

"Always wanted to go there." Madoc replied, taking another swig from his pint. "Nah, not really. Just enough to know it when I hear it." He replied with a smile. "I went through a stage in school of watching foreign horror." He explained. "I can pretty much understand 'yes', 'no' and 'dear god, don't eat me'." he laughed.
He wondered breifly what Felix's reaction would be. People often seemed suprised by the fact that Madoc actually knew stuff like that - he guessed it was because of the way he dressed, he just didn't look like the type or something.
"Truth be told, the only language I could hold a conversation in other than English is Welsh, and that's pretty useless." He added.

Felix snorted, "Wonderful place, if you like freezing your nuts off and living on cabbage and vodka." He pointed out with a smirk, he'd only been to the country once, when he was younger and it had left an impression on him to be sure. "Welsh at least would be more useful in these parts. Aside from Russian, only languages I know come from too far away to be useful in the slightest."

Madoc grinned. "Sounds just like my grans place in Wales, but with vodka." He replied, swigging again.
"Yea, you'd be suprised just how many people look at you like you're mental when you're speaking Welsh." He scoffed. "Especially with a name like Madoc. It's not that common, apparently, not even in Wales."
"How come you wound up here, then?" He asked. He hadn't spoken to Felix much, mainly because he hadn't been in much since he started working there, and he was actually enjoying the young mans company.

"At the pub or in Edgehaven? If its the latter..." Felix gave him a wry smirk, "Would you believe me if I said to learn about Vampires?" He asked, setting down a glass and picking up another.

Madoc had just taken a swig from his pint when Felix gave his reply, and almost choked when he heard it. He raised an eyebrow and lowered the pint back down, placing it on the bar infront of him.
"But aren't you..." he started, frowning. Maybe he'd gotten too cocky about being able to tell a vampire when he saw one. He was rarely wrong, but maybe this time he was...

He chuckled, nodding, "Oh no, I am. Daywalker, didn't know until I was about six though. The old man didn't bother explaining things and Ma, well, she was human, med student from the far east, what could she tell me about being a Vamp? They don't even have vamps that far out I don't think. She didn't even know she'd married one until I was born with fangs." he admitted with a snigger.
"Gave the midwives a bit of a nasty shock." he added with a mischevious twinkle in his eyes as he watched Madoc choke on his drink, a small sadistic side of him taking amusement in the other man's reaction.

Madoc's frown dissolved. "Ahh, a Day Walker. That makes sense. Your old man sounds like a bit of a git, if you don't mind me saying."
He laughed. "Yea, I bet it did, especially out there." He looked thoughtful for a moment. "Still, it's kind of a long way to travel to learn about Vamps, isn't it? I mean, couldn't you have gone to the library or something?"

Felix shrugged a shoulder, "I didn't know what to believe. There are a lot of conflicting theories on Vampirism on the Outside. And dad wasn't too bad, he was just...." he shrugged again, setting his polished glass aside to refill another punter's glass. "He wasn't a git when he was sober enough to realise I existed, lets just put it that way."

Madoc shrugged. He'd never actually been very far outside Edgehaven - the occasional daytrip to Bellepheron or London, a visit to his fathers relatives in Wales, or a long weekend in Cornwall or Devon, but that was about the extent of his travels. His parents may have been wealthy, but they didn't splash out much on holidays.
"I'll have to take your word for it." He replied. "I guess I never really thought about it. Living around here your whole life, you kinda think that everyone knows about vampires." He explained.
"I remember the first time I went to London with my school - I thought it was weird that there weren't any lycans or vampires around. And the sunlight was kinda a shock the first time too." He said, with the kind of nostalgic smile people get from drunken reminiscing.
He downed the remains of his pint and put the glass back on the bar. He decided not to comment further on Felix's father, he got the feeling that he might have offended the young man already.

The blonde smiled, "Now that's something I do miss. Sunlight. Never quite realised just how cold things were without it." He admitted sheepishly as he reached for another glass.

Dillon didn't believe in quiet. Whether it was being quiet, thinking quietly, or in this case, quiet entrances, he didn't get on well with it.
Which is why he threw open the door, took one look, and cried out: "This is more LIKE it!" He walked over to the bar, and took a seat, eyeing Felix. Literally. He shut one eye and squinted at him. It was how he thought 'eyeing' people was supposed to work.
"...You're a vampire. Crap. Not again." He complained. "Last bar I went into, vampire only bar. 'course, I was meant to get that just 'cause it was called the 'Translyvanian Hole'. Yeah, like THAT was obvious. So I went in there, and before you know it, they're trying to eat me!"
"Now I've got dust on my trousers and I'm still sober." He sulked, turning to see Madoc. "Hey there buddy. Sorry to hear you've been bitten by a vampire. Sucks when you accidently walk into a vampire bar, huh?" He apparently paid no attention to the fact that he was perfectly healthy, and that he had clearly not been bitten.
"So what's with this place anyway? Ever since I've been here, nobody's told me they 'vant to suck my blood'. I've never been more disappointed!"

Felix arched an eyebrow at him, "I'm vegitarian." He deadpanned, he wasn't, he just didn't feed on living humans - he begged the hospital for bloodpacks or made a quick jaunt to La Belle Gabrielle, he was fairly certain that they served human blood - and besides, saying you're a veggy vamp always made people give you looks. That was always funny.
He paused, continuing to rub his glass, alright, he could handle crazy, it was kind of like druk but more hyperactive. "And This is a human bar. I'm just the minion to Moe." He added, jerking a thumb at the old guy in the corner as he totalled up the ar tabs and growled irritably under his breath. "Booze'll do you right? Though I'm fairly sure we have some alcohol as well." He added.
