My suggestion for this was that we use one of Rino's henchmen to show up and force you guys to fight. Since it's the apocalypse and all, there shouldn't be much time to stand around and chat, and a sudden attack by a more powerful character would really force you guys back on track.

At least, that's my suggestion.

I actually think it might be a good idea if we have a planning board instead of just a thread, and then a separate thread for each faction maybe? Maybe a thread for the Night Watch, the EHPD, the remnants of the Lémartes Corp and then a general planning thread for everyone else? Just an idea seeing as we keep bouncing around with who we're talking about, might make it a bit less confusing. Plus it means we can stop spamming up the Welcome thread xD

Then again, it might just be my OCD-ish need to organize everything xD

Since we're spamming the Welcome Board (Should we get a new one of them? We're almost at the 300 post mark) shall we move here?

The current Map I have of Edgehaven is.... less than perfect. Less than even slightly decent if I'm actually honest. Popped out a few minutes ago during lunch break (WHICH I AM STILL ON) and got some proper paper from my local stationers. Hopefully everything will work out. Now, since we are apparently having Edgehaven somewhat similar to Southampton (the map on the wall in front of me is embarrassingly similar to the one I have on paper. This will change) I need to know what we've actually got in the city.

I know the general important places that belong to each character. But what's inbetween them? Because, as it stands, Edgehaven has a buttload of unused housing because I severely doubt that in a City full of weres and vamps that the population is in any way similar to Southamptons. So, office buildings, flats, City Council - speaking of, do we have one? Edgehaven is generally Lawless but it won't be for long if the EHPD have something to say about it, so what do we do with the little things like... Housing, Taxes, Licensing, Highways, Transport, Legal... Or we could just have whatever Council there was or is too scared to stop cowering in their basements.

*Chews I.D. card thoughtfully* Industry, I think we need an Industrial Estate, Shipping, sewage/waste management, factories, warehouses. I get the feeling that with how insular Edgehaven seems to be, no one really wants to risk doing business with them - so wouldn't they be self-sufficient?

I know Nik gave me full artistic license for this but. >>; I don't want to do something that would cheese people off.

Hmm... with the map, could you maybe mark out a couple of residential areas and assume that's where the NPCs and whatnot live? We've got the rich area on the outskirts obviously, but a few more would be a good idea maybe? Maybe a business district around near the DA... I like the Industrial Estate idea, Edgehaven is bound to have at least a few shops, people have to buy clothes and food and whatnot somewhere.

That's a point, would there be an area on the Waterfront that would be a sort of rich area? That's what I was thinking when I put Kana's there... partly because people might want a nice view of the river (assuming the river has a nice view) and partly because the river is probably a quick escape in the event of another apocalypse xD

I'm sure there was a Council that we were going to make proper characters at some point, I think it was comprised of two/three members of each race because there was going to be an arc where Vincent took over them. I'd check with Nik but I swear I remember me, Nik, Leigh and I think Jaden having a plan to actually play the Council.... maybe something we could do in future? Back to original point though, I think they were what passed as the government figures.

Nah. I was leaning more towards Local Government - the useless kind that quibble over litter, overgrown shrubbery and potholes. XDD Can you imagine the Night Watch or even the EHPD having to put up with a bunch of overstuffed harpies? (And as I am writing this on a work computer, actually within the Council, I would like to add that this is a generalisation of a negative public opinion and holds no baring on my own personal opinion as all the Council members I have met thus far have been wonderful people, or at the very least tolerable and capable of their jobs. Ahem.)

Alrighty. 8) I have four sheets of my nice paper - I should be able to draw up something useable when I get home. Which may be a while as I'm working late tonight.
